A dreamy home with a spacious design accentuated with pretty walls and enriched with wooden furniture. Here, you can wake up to a breezy morning and walk out to the open balcony to soak in a lovely view of the city. This apartment in SJR Luxuria gives an experience befitting its name.

Acting on a friend’s advice, they approached Livspace and instantly were able to connect with Livspace designer Anisha Rathore. Anisha was able to relate to their preferences and offer them options suiting their preferences and tastes.

She also wanted the home to reflect the young couple’s casual and friendly attitude. Thus, she dressed the home with minimal furniture and made the spaces pop with pretty accent walls. A striking pink wall paired with a simple foyer unit for shoes welcomes visitors. Keep scrolling to see more of this home!

Cool neutrals dominate the living room making it easier to feel at home. The tufted sofas, colourful flecks on the ottoman and sheer curtains give it a graceful look. Inspired by Livspace 3D designs, the duo even got their friend to paint an artwork to adorn the wall.

Keeping it simple, the sleek TV unit gives it a contemporary look. The wood and white combination fits in perfectly with their contemporary taste.

Plush Living in Pink

Home design SJR Luxuria

The living-cum-dining room is an open layout vastly spread out giving ample possibilities for the couple to decorate. Yet, they chose minimal furniture but tried to give a stark impact through the pink textured wall. Two fabulous mirrors add to its glamour.

The dining area is simple with upholstered seating for comfort. Painted ceramic plates draw attention with its unique and colourful artwork.

The space also houses a basic pooja corner with shelves and a modular unit. It blends seamlessly with the theme of the room.

Soothing Textures

Wooden tones reign in the master bedroom and make it warm and snug. To balance the heavy colours used in the room, a dreamy blue and white wallpaper has been used. A matte wardrobe of slate autumn leaf shade completes the look without competing with the other elements. Since the couple loves to travel, the wardrobe has enough space to store their travel accessories too.

Home design SJR Luxuria

A full-length mirror adds to the elegance while making it easy to get ready, without installing a separate dresser. A floor lamp curated during the couple’s travel ventures finds a beautiful spot beside the bed.

Graceful Guest Room

Humble in its appearance, the guest room harbours a white acacia wardrobe. Sleek yet sturdy, the wardrobe gives the room an elegant appeal with its flawless finish.

Stunning Study

It also houses a study table with ample storage options and a wingback chair that complements the blue wall. We can’t take our eyes off this room!

“I specifically love how the study room has turned out. The final finish is even better than what was picturised in the 3D renders.”

– Anisha Rathore, Interior Designer, Livspace

Currently, the home is decorated with their travel curios and has a tasteful appeal to it. If you also love collecting trinkets as you travel, you should check this Gurgaon home. Let us know what you loved about this home!

This Delhi home design has been done up in a darker colour palette and it’s unique!

Delhi home design

Who livs here: Rohit Gupta with wife Neha and kids Kabir and Aiesha and Rohit’s mother

Location: Lajpat Nagar 3, New Delhi

Home Size: 3 BHK spanning, 2,400 sq ft

Design team: Interior Designer Amar Sidhu with Quality Manager Anil Singla

Livspace service: Full home design

Budget: ₹₹₹₹

Sophistication meets grandeur in this uber stylish Delhi home design where a couple resides with their adorable kids. Lajpat Nagar, a bustling neighbourhood in South Delhi, famous for its market full of trendy clothes and accessories is home to this wonderful family of five. Hailing from Delhi and having stayed in this area for years made the couple finally buy their own home here.

Rohit Gupta, a businessman by profession, always wanted to buy his own home and get it designed. While they were looking for interior designers on the web, Facebook suggested Livspace and Livspace suggested Amar Sidhu, to design their dreamscape. Some quick decisions and smart planning gave shape to this dapper apartment. Take a look.

A Unique Entrance

Delhi home design

Rohit and Neha are both very fond of greenery and believe that a home should always feel fresh with flora in it. When you enter this classy address, you are greeted by a geometric wall panel that has sections of tinted mirror, artificial turf and stone. Yes, this is the perfect entrance to a chic home!

Delhi home design

Make way for more natural greenery as you move towards the ultra matte finish console table in super black. Behind the console table is a shaft that houses a live vertical garden to satiate their love for plants. The couple can enjoy their morning cup of coffee besides a live green curtain!

Opulent Living

Delhi home design

The large living area where the couple entertains guests very frequently has been given a lot of seating space. A rich colour combination of dark brown and teal dominates this room, with abstract floral print drapes with a matching pelmet. Spaces like this make for memorable moments with family and friends!

Delhi home design

Dark brown and teal are the ruling colours in the living room, with suede chesterfield sofas filling this space with an air of elegance. The Italian marble top center table is minimalistic, yet a classy addition to this room that complements the colour scheme beautifully.

Delhi home design

A wall-to-wall TV unit in veneer and high gloss white duco finish laminate sits amidst all the action in this living room. Since the couple enjoys watching matches and Nexflixing with friends, this home theatre system is a essential part of the home!

Dining Together

Delhi home design

Delhi home design

The most striking feature about this dining room is the brown tinted mirror panel, with diamond cuts that create a wonderful accent wall. The simple reason behind giving the couple this mirror wall was to create depth in the room. A brilliant idea given by Amar, we must say!

Delhi home design

A Fun Zone for Boys

Delhi home design

Delhi home design

This kids’ room is such an escape for the little ones with enough space to hold their world! The duco finish chest of drawers is the answer to all their toy storage woes. Given that kids are often careless, the bed is a fully upholstered one with no sharp edges. What adds to the entire theme, you ask? Well, just look at those Edison bulbs hanging on ropes. Classic!

Delhi home design

Delhi home design

Did you look at the two innocent but extremely naughty faces? These little angels are very fond of destroying walls with their little hands. So, Amar suggested a lacquered blue glass wall, so that the kids can display all their creativity on it and maintenance is never an issue again! A busy and trendy wallpaper sits atop the glass panel and a modern study table with a classic peg board seals the deal.

A Treat for Guests

Delhi home design

Delhi home design

Delhi home design

The guest bedroom, which is used by Rohit’s mom, is as simple as it gets. WIth minimalist design aesthetics, this room has everything essential. A light laminate panel atop the wingback headboard sits right opposite the TV unit. Essentially elegant is what we would like to call it!

A Retreat for the Couple

Delhi home design

Delhi home design

The master bedroom is so serene that we almost instantly fell in love with it. It has been done up with wooden flooring, a fully upholstered bed with button-tufted headboard that runs from ceiling to floor, and a panelled wardrobe are the highlights of this room.

Delhi home design

The cemented wall hung lamp shades set against the moulded wall gives this room a classy appearance while keeping it earthy and earm. The earthy grey colour blends in perfectly with the bed making this room totally insta worthy!

Delhi home design

Since the couple is into gadgets and gaming, they had to have a home theatre system in their bedroom as well. We built this TV unit especially for them, replete with ample storage. It’s perfect for people with a lot of gadgets. We topped off the unit in high gloss and matte finish laminates in grey and white.

“This was a great learning experience for me as a designer, since the couple instilled complete faith in me and my designs. I totally loved working on this project and this definitely adds a feather to my cap!”

– Amar Sidhu, Interior Designer, Livspace

For Roshni Mitra and her husband Venu Madhav, a home was not a priority on their list. However, the ambience of Prestige Ferns Residency was too much to resist. Thus, the compact 2BHK came to be their first home. They wanted the decor of this home to mirror their carefree and easy-going lifestyle.

After multiple discussions, they approached Livspace as they wanted a one-stop solution without having to interact with multiple vendors. When they met their Livspace designer, Soumya BG, they could easily relate to the designs as the Livspace catalogue adhered even to their unique taste. The positive reviews from her friends boosted her confidence in Livspace.

A Pop of Colour

nterior design Prestige Ferns Residency

The home is one of a kind with colour schemes that only a few dare to try. The autumn green sofa gives the room a pop of colour while brightening the space. Roshni has a fun way of playing with colours and her fashion instincts knew that pairing Autumn Leaf with grey would pay off.

nterior design Prestige Ferns Residency

We love the trims and birdcage on the wall; it makes the space feel more beautiful yet lively while adding a personal touch to the living room.

The TV unit is a sleek storage with the popular wood and white combination. The grand setting uplifts the overall mood of the living room along with the vintage decor options that Roshni chose.

A Regal Experience

nterior design Prestige Ferns Residency

As a professional having to work five days a week, Roshni ensures she spends the weekend at home by inviting friends over. The dining room is a favourite spot where friends and family spend time while she plays the perfect host.

Quirky, classy and sophisticated, all in one setting. The dining room is a perfect example of how contemporary and European vintage styles come together to make a statement.

Simple & Functional

nterior design Prestige Ferns Residency

The straight kitchen works well for the working class. It’s easy to maintain while offering a wonderful mix of functionality and subtle appearance. Roshni feels its a myth that aesthetically appealing homes lack functionality because her home is a perfect blend of both.

Here too, the trending wood and white concept gives the kitchen an elegant feel. The wooden cabinets add warmth while the white wall units give the kitchen a spacious feel.

Minimalist Decor

Soumya was determined to give the couple an easy-to-care home with a stunning appearance. Thus, the master bedroom is a humble setting with a bed, chest of drawers and a wardrobe. However, the chevron finish of the headboard and the stunning champagne sliding wardrobe gives the room an impeccable look.

Humble Dwelling

The parents’ room also promotes minimalism in its design. A Ruby Walnut bed contrasts the light American walnut wardrobe for a classy exhibit. The pretty furnishings add colour to the neutral room, with pinks and greys complementing the room.

With respect to colours, we’re floored by the harmony the designer has maintained in the entire home. Compact spaces offer a great opportunity to think out of the box and provide some innovative storage solutions. Take a look at house design images of this Mumbai home with details on what went into this remodel.

House design images

Who livs here: Arvind Jain, his wife Nikita, their two daughters, Arvind’s younger brother and his wife along with their baby girl, and their two parents.

Location: Riddhi Siddhi, Khetwadi, Mumbai

Home Size: 2 BHK

Design team: Interior Designer Tejal Shah with Quality Manager Mushir Shaikh

Livspace service: Full home design

Budget: ₹₹₹₹

Having lived with old school interiors that left the home looking cramped, Arvind Jain and family were ready to give their home a much-needed overhaul! They approached Livspace for this task and wanted everything from flooring to soft furnishings to be changed.

Livspace Interior Designer Tejal Shah, who was roped in for the task, found the task challenging given that she would have to cater to the needs of 9 people! Being the sport that she is, she dove right in to give them some tailored solutions for their unique needs. Take a look!

Living Room Transformation

House design images

One of the Jains’ biggest requirements was that they wanted every room to make the most of natural light, and feel spacious and airy. Apart from giving everything a homey yet modern touch, they also needed the living room to turn into a bedroom for their parents at night. This was accomplished in phases. Firstly, the flooring was changed entirely from old-school to a neutral-coloured tiles.

House design images

We built a comfortable, compact and durable sofa-cum-bed that also looks perfect for the look Tejal tried to create. A simple armchair, coffee table and side table later, they were good to go.

If you look carefully, you’ll see an alcove to the side of the living room. This has been done up in vintage-style floral wallpaper, cabinets and false ceiling to make it a storage-cum-changing space for their parents. An innovative use of 25 sq ft!

Less is More!

House design images

Let’s turn to the entertainment unit that’s rather conspicuous in its minimalist design. Mounted on white panelling, the TV unit is classic and blends right in. Tejal has added a cabinet that’s a beautiful mix of open and closed units for display and storage needs. Using wood on white compliments the theme and keeps it light.

Interior design Prestige Ferns Residency

House design images

White on wood is the tone that’s been set in this gorgeous Mumbai home. The end result is, everything seems so well put together without being overwhelming.

Dining Designed to Disappear

House design images

For the dining space, Tejal set up a fine space-saving idea with a foldable dining table and light chairs. The table fits seamlessly into the panelling when you’re done with a meal, and opens up the room for more space in case of visitors. Didn’t we tell you these space-saving options would delight you?

Cool Creations

House design images

House design images

This home is a testament to all things simple and beautiful. Take a look at this membrane kitchen in a combination of blue and white! It’s cool and functional. Doing up the overhead cabinets in white makes a space seem larger and adding blue to the lower half, makes a space exciting. We’ve kept the backsplash simple in white.

House design images

Tejal deigned a combination of open and closed units with handles for the cabinets. Additionally, there is a rolling shutter cabinet installed to accommodate all their appliances.

House design images

The custom-made crockery unit with blue tiles as the background forms the statement piece in this kitchen.

Master Bedroom Marvel

House design images

The master bedroom shared by Arvind Jain, his wife and his two children is minimalistic but warm. They had a chest of drawers they wanted to accommodate. So Tejal played match with the wardrobe and doors. She pasted the laminates for the wardrobe horizontally and vertically, alternately for that stunning effect.

House design images

The bed is big and comfy, with a stunning blue upholstered headboard, also tailormade. If you look closely at the wooden flooring on the right, you’ll notice that that is cleverly designed storage space that runs 2 ft deep and can hold toys and books that belong to the kids.

House design images

Tejal also designed the bed to hold a pull-out bed for the kids. This is seamless and can ensure the room suits all four of them!

House design images

The balcony space has been converted into a study and play zone for the kids while the storage space stays neatly tucked away. This is an idea that can be easily implemented by anyone who has window space.

House design images

There is another alcove in this room which houses a wardrobe in pretty pink and white for the girls, has been done up with foam-based brick tiles for a cushioning effect, shelves, chalkboard and more! Every child’s dream come true!

Vanity Fare

House design images

House design images

Apart from the vanity, Tejal also provided some open shelves for their display needs and things that need to be accessed more frequently. Therefore, smaller spaces can also be made beautiful and functional.

Beautiful Spaces

House design images

Arvind’s younger brother, wife and two-year-old daughter share the second bedroom which has been done up in brown and grey. From the upholstered headboard to the side tables, the book shelf and the dressing unit, Tejal kept it light and breathable. However, it boasts of storage in terms of the massive wardrobe and shelves everywhere.

House design images

A mirror has been installed above the headboard to give this room a more spacious feel, which we think is the need of the hour, especially with smaller and more compact homes in the metro. As a result, this home turned into a modern, comfortable zone for the Jain family without hassles.

“Arvind’s wife Nikita was a big factor in making this home come true. She had new ideas and was easy to work with – making quick elections and approvals. In this home, we made sure we utilised every inch available to accommodate a big family’s needs. It was challenging but we achieved it!”

– Tejal Shah, Interior Designer, Livspace

For a first home, Vidya and her husband Anoop wanted something that feels cosy and personal. In addition to this, they felt that a soothing palette will help beat the stress at the end of the day. Their apartment at Prestige Misty Waters, Hebbal, Bengaluru, was already large and bright with ample inlets for sunlight to shine through. Thus, a design complementing the same was what they wanted from the start.

When they met Livspace designer, Srushti Angolkar, they instantly felt comfortable with her casual attitude. She let them take their time in making decisions and provided options on par with their requirements. Thus, a home dressed in blues came into being.

Subtle yet Striking

Hebbal home interiors

The foyer is a small space with a modular unit, and a decorative mirror embellishing it. Yet the quirky design of stone membrane and frosty white laminate shoe rack makes for a stylish entryway.

Sea of Blues

Hebbal home interiors Hebbal home interiors
Hebbal home interiors

We can’t get enough of this spacious living cum dining room. The printed blue and white wallpaper eases any person and instantly makes one feel welcome. By using the longer wall to add storage units and the TV, Srushti managed to give it a smooth flow and an organised look. Clean lines and compact seating define the space and give it a neat finish.

Ravishing in Red

Hebbal home interiors Hebbal home interiors

Though small kitchens are trending in apartments, this home has a rather large one. Srushti made it stunning with champagne and wine red finishes while catering to its functional side. The comfy seating option is not just handy while doing tasks but also gives the large counter space a break.

Hebbal home interiors Hebbal home interiors

The kitchen is ergonomic with a huge pantry unit to store groceries. A separate service counter is installed that acts as a wet area with a heavy duty sink and a corner to place a washing machine.

Tone-on-Tone Technique

Hebbal home interiors

Hebbal home interiorsHebbal home interiors

It notable how tone-on-tone technique beautifully amplifies more of calming and appeasing vibes with blue. To give it a hint of warmth, wooden tones in the form of Somana oak for the wardrobe finish have been added.

Designed for Changing Needs

Hebbal home interiors Hebbal home interiors

Hebbal home interiors

Children usually outgrow designs very quickly. Keeping this in mind, the kids room design has been devised with options that are feasible even when he grows up. For example, the metallic grey wardrobe and a geometric wallpaper. Yet, this doesn’t stop him from having fun with eccentric lights, a world map pinboard and a sleek study.

Simplicity is Stunning

Hebbal home interiors Hebbal home interiors

The guest room features bare minimum furniture — a bed, a wardrobe and a dresser. However, this is one of the designs that Srushti adores. The navy blue wardrobe and a stunning mirror balance the aesthetics in this minimalist setting.

Recreation is Required

Hebbal home interiors Hebbal home interiors Hebbal home interiors

The recreational room, as we like to call it, is designed keeping in mind multiple uses. The couple loves to read and the bookshelf houses all their prized possessions — books. The seating is also comfortable to relax while they indulge in their favourite pastime. Also, it has a pooja corner and a treadmill dedicated to their devotional and health goals.

“Vidya and Anoop were patient and trusted me throughout the designing phase. I initially spent time in understanding their tastes and preferences, so the designing was smooth.”

When your work life wears you down, you seek the comfort of home. A home that is welcoming with positive vibes, was something Rohit Chaturvedi, Livspace homeowner, was looking for. When he approached Livspace, his designer, Megha Sobti, ensured she understood every detail of their lifestyle before suggesting designs.

Thus, the home with bright colours casts a spell-binding impression and extends a warm welcome. Though bold hues like red, orange and yellow are used in ample measures, the balance with whites, beiges and browns hones the overall appearance.

Blend with Beauty

Noida home design Noida home design

The living and the dining room sports a minimalist look. Yet the mirrored panelling behind the dining table gives it a substantial look. Rohit, who loves collecting and displaying artefacts, has enough space in the entertainment unit to do so.

Noida home design

Making use of the blank wall near the kitchen entrance, Megha smartly added a sleek bar unit. This acts as a partition while offering minimum disruption to the flow of traffic in the passageway.

The Red Reel

Noida home design
Noida home design

The kitchen is a fun place to cook in, with its ravenous reds and cosy cappuccinos. The balance of functionality and aesthetics in the design is mesmerising. Despite its narrow layout, the kitchen can easily accommodate three people with ease.

Noida home design

The kitchen also has many open shelves and frosted glass shutters to give it an airy feel. This is crucial in the design as the kitchen is relatively narrow, which can otherwise feel cramped.

Say Yes to Yellow!

Noida home design

Rohit prefers yellow at home as it keeps the vibe lively and positive. The master bedroom is a true testament to this idea. The stunning textured wall makes the room feel energetic and plays well with the white contrast. The jali partition divides the bedroom from the wardrobe and dresser section to give it an appealing and airy feel.

Noida home design

Here too, display units are a great place for Rohit to exhibit his collections. The bright yellow and white combination adds to the exuberance of the room.

Mind-blowing Browns

Noida home design Noida home design Noida home design

Their daughter, Swati’s room is a stunning space with a textured brown wall. It is reminiscent of the rustle of autumn leaves. Although a niche was provided for a wardrobe, it was too small to fit in a slider. Thus, it has been converted to a beautiful study unit and the wardrobe occupies the opposite wall. The full-length mirrored door doubles as a dresser for Swati.

A Subtle Mixture

Noida home design

Since storage was Rohit’s primary requirement, the guest room also houses a vast wardrobe. The walnut bronze shade finishes blends into the all-wood setting of the room.

Divine Tranquility

Noida home design

The study acts as a place of tranquillity with lots of privacy, minimal furniture and a beautiful mandir. The Corian pooja unit has deities engraved on them such that when the lights are switched on, they glow creating a beautiful picture.

Noida home design Noida home design

Sleek, stylish and super functional washroom designs maintain the standard in which the home is done up.

“The Chaturvedis are very understanding and lovely people; it was fun working with them. Our friendship grew during the course of designing their home. So much so that I was invited to attend their housewarming ceremony too.”
— Megha Sobti, Interior Designer, Livspace

A pop of colour here and there completes this Bangalore house design.

Bangalore house design

Who livs here: Nirmal Shah with his wife Reena Shah, daughter Aanya and son Aarav

Location: JP Nagar, Sarakki Nagar, Bengaluru

Size of home: 3 BHK spanning 1,850 sq ft

Design team: Interior Designer Jitendra Raju with Quality Manager Pavan Hongal

Livspace service: Full home design

Budget: ₹₹₹₹₹

We love it when our clients are spread across all ages and generations. Their love story began in Bengaluru, where they built their own sweet home. However, Reena and Nirmal Shah’s roots are in Rajasthan and Gujarat. When they decided on getting their own apartment in JP Nagar, it was Reena’s father who told them about Livspace.

Jitendra R, Livspace Interior Designer, was assigned to the couple, to transform the bare walls into their dream home. From colour schemes to carefully selected furniture, it has been a great journey for the family and the designer. You have to step into this home to get a feel of how impeccable the aesthetics and design are. Oh and did we tell you? This home is completely Vastu-friendly. So it’s a strictly “good vibes only” kind of home!

A Lively Living

Bangalore house design

Bangalore house design

A living room design with a pop of autumn green is an instant visual treat. This living room is such a lively mix of bright sofas and muted walls that it feels just perfect for some downtime with the family. The drapes and cushions are also in sync with the colour scheme of this room, which makes the room look perfectly balanced.

Bangalore house design

The TV unit is a lovely cappuccino-shaded, floor-mounted one with shelves for the set-top box, dvd’s and other gadgets. Why not wall mounted, you ask? Well, the family is extremely vastu conscious and they did not want to drill the wall behind the unit. The pendant lights create soft focus on that area.

Guest and family members, who often visit the couple, can easily be accommodated in this six-seater dining table with the upholstered bench beside it. The entire look is in harmony with the living room, with the crockery unit in the same cappuccino finish as the TV unit. We have our eyes set on the quirky umbrella-shaped chandelier that adds a dash of colour to this room.

Practical Cooking Zone

A modular kitchen should be two things, practical and ergonomic. The Shahs and Jitendra made sure that they ticked these two boxes while deciding upon the design for the kitchen. Complete with a black granite countertop, tandem boxes and a tiny breakfast counter, this parallel kitchen is perfect for small families.

Vivacious, Yet Subdued

Aarav’s room dons a dark grey colour scheme on the wall, on the wardrobe and on the study unit. The nailhead trimmed headboard is also playing match with the rest of the look, while the wardrobes sport high-gloss laminate finish with a mirror and drawers that act as a dresser for the boy.

Bangalore house design

The study unit also matches with the colour scheme of grey and white in the entire room. So harmony is the key here! With ample space to keep all his books and belongings, this study is perfect for a growing kid. Soft push cabinets on top ensure ease of use and functionality.

This girl’s room is not just the average kid’s room. It follows a lovely colour scheme of lilac and white. Just take a look at the paintry wallpaper behind the bed. Doesn’t it mesmerise you? We love how Jitendra has maintained a theme for each of the rooms. The sliding wardrobe has a full size mirror with drawers on the side, to make for a cute dressing corner for Aanya.

Elegant and Light Repose

The master bedroom has been kept absolutely simple, with light wood flooring that is offset by dark wood and white bed and wardrobes. In this room also, the drapes and the wallpaper are in perfect sync with the colour scheme. The study table acts as a working den for Nirmal when he’s working from home. The shelves on the unit are meant for family pictures that they love displaying.

“The Shahs were very easy to deal with and I loved working on this home. I was given complete independence to experiment with designs, while making sure that it is vastu compliant. I have tried to maintain a colour scheme for each room, which gives the home a harmonious look.”

A Mumbai home design for a young and vivacious couple who recently moved to Mumbai.

Mumbai home design

Who livs here: Abhinav Uppal with his wife Sonam

Location: Dosti Ambrosia, Wadala, Mumbai

Design team: Interior Designer Niharika Tewari with Quality Manager Mushir Shaikh

Livspace service: Full home design

Budget: ₹₹₹₹₹

A chirpy and fun-loving couple, get their dream home designed by Livspace in no time. Do you want to know how? So, it all started with Abhinav Uppal looking for end-to-end interior designing services in Mumbai and then stumbled upon us. He and his wife, Sonam, are ardent followers of Pinterest and were beaming with some great ideas for their new home!

For a busy couple working for of the “Big four” MNC’s in India, it was essential to employ someone who could give them a holistic design solution. In stepped Niharika Tewari, Livspace interior designer, and gave the couple complete confidence that they would get the best for their home. The design journey started from here and never took a u-turn!

A Foyer Full of Memories

Mumbai home design

Abhinav and Sonam love displaying their fondest memories up on the wall. This is evident as soon as you step into this cozy address in Dosti Ambrosia. A photo gallery, inspired by Pinterest, with lovely photographs of the couple, gives you a warm welcome into this 2BHK. What makes this foyer every bit functional, is the shoe rack and a bench.

Mumbai home design

Since, this compact home, Niharika, suggested a two-seater dining table with a bench that can accommodate extras, just in case! A cage chandelier lights up this area, while a wood finish wallpaper adds warmth. We love this idea of having a space-optimised dining area!

An Accommodating Living!

Mumbai home design

Mumbai home design

Mumbai home design

The living room sits right opposite the dining area and sports a glamorous mirrored accent wall on one side. We love how this wall opens up the space and allows maximum light to get reflected all over the area. Ample seating and a nested center table along with quirky patchwork accent chairs, makes this space the perfect sit-out for friends!

A Cozy Bar Area

Mumbai home design

When you play the perfect hosts to a lot of friends, you ought to have a bar area at home! While the couple already possessed this spacious bar unit, they were falling short of display options for their favourite wines and glasses. So, Niharika, suggested this niche unit in the corner, that can house a wine chiller and has shelves for displaying glasses.

A Masterchef Inspired Kitchen!

Mumbai home design

The couple love watching Masterchef and this is something they were particular about, for their kitchen. They wanted their kitchen to have all the basic amenities that they would require, at arm’s length and easily accessible. Niharika gave this space a rustic look by using industrial tiles for the backsplash and cappuccino hued cabinetry that blends in with the theme!

A Room for Entertainment!

Mumbai home design

Mumbai home design

This fun-loving couple wanted a room that is dedicated towards entertainment and get-togethers. This room has a bright yellow wall that makes things chirpy, while the floor cushions and throws give this room a Bohemian vibe. Watching cricket matches together with friends is something that Abhinav and Sonam enjoy, and this room is meant for that!

A Storage-Friendly Master Bedroom

The master bedroom has everything that a compact space should have. Niharika utilised the wall niches behind the bed to give the couple space to keep their daily bedtime essentials. False ceiling with cove lighting creates a dreamy mood in this room, with floral drapes and a classic pendant lamp adding maximum effect!

The TV unit is built of stone finish matte laminate that offsets the high gloss glass shutter sliding wardrobe. The TV unit is the epitome of storage, with ladder-style shelves and cabinets that provide space for storing the innumerable books that couple possess. The dressing table plays match with the TV unit and bring in harmony in the look of the entire room.

Thus, every room has statement upholstery in vibrant colours that give it a stunning look.

Making Memories

Bright yellows are a welcoming sight and make the compact space look bright. However, don’t be fooled by the realistic exposed brick wall, it’s just a 3D wallpaper! It acts as a gallery wall featuring travel tales and memories.

We love how the rug feels like there is confetti on the floor. This balances the setting and gives it a vibrant boost. The five-tiered display unit has a stunning design that is eye-catchy and exudes an airy feel.

Nothing too Formal

Keeping the mood vibrant, the dining space sports low-back seating and a floral-upholstered bench for a fun effect. While it fits perfectly in the close-packed space, it also feels visually light. Doesn’t this remind you of an outdoor picnic?

The home has a lobby space that is comfy and warm. An industrial effect with a red brick wallpaper gives it a cafe-like appearance. The family loves to have conversations and spend time together. This is a perfect setting for them to connect in.

Delicate Designs

There are two pooja units in the home. One greets visitors in the foyer and the second forms part of the main mandir in Shruti’s room. The stunning jali designs give a graceful mien around it.

Lively & Beautiful

Grace, beauty and charm surround this bedroom! A stunning wallpaper inspired by the Krishna Mehta collection is the foundation for such finesse. The copper lights and pink headboard complement its statement look. Is this what it feels like to wake up to view of the royal gardens? This design transports you to experience the luxurious living of the kings.

To complete the look a display unit and a TV unit find place opposite the bed. The floral curtains just add to the room’s spell-binding demeanour.

A Touch of Royalty

Shruti’s brother, Priyank Sharma and his wife have also opted for a stunning bedroom design. A statement wallpaper highlighting the room gives it a luxurious touch. The wall sconces and upholstered headboard make it feel like a hotel-style room.

A wooden chest of drawers doubles as a TV unit along with adding warmth to the room. The floral couch is great for reading while the plush area rug is alluring to sink your toes into.

Understated Elegance

The parents’ room is cosy with the white and wooden theme. Trims on the wall and chevron patterns on the headboard and side table look chic. Sober colours and warm wooden accents make it a compelling room for the elders.

Among the few cities north of the Vindhyas that have made the leap from being an insignificant town to one of the most sought-after commercial hubs in the country is Gurgaon, a.k.a., Gurugram. And owning an address in this posh locale is no small feat. Our clients Shonika and Prerak Bhatia, reside at Ourania, which is a high-end luxurious condominium that is away from the hustle-bustle of the city, yet in close proximity to all the facilities.

When the Bhatias approached Livspace, they had certain requirements that had to be addressed in order to get the design started. Some niches had to designed to create functional spaces that blend with the aesthetics of the home. In stepped Pallavi Kalra, Livspace interior designer, who gave them designs that impressed them, and thus the journey started..

Welcome Home to Elegance!

As you walk into this Gurgaon home, you will be hit by a flood of grey, which is oh-so-soothing to the eyes! Pallavi had shown the couple a few design samples with shades of grey and they instantly fell in love! The living room has ample seating, with the pewter-hued, tufted sectional that sits right in front of the wooden panelled TV unit. White flooring offsets the grey colour scheme here!

A Cozy Dining Area

Gurgaon home decor

Both, Shonika and Prerak wanted a dining area that would not eat up a lot of space and would still accommodate people. So, Pallavi suggested a round, glass top dining table with solid wooden legs, and fully upholstered dining chairs that play match with the sofas in the living room.

Gurgaon home decor

There was a niche in the wall near the dining table that had to be utilised, because it was proving to be dead space. Pallavi then came up with a solution to give the couple a storage-cum-serving counter in that area. The cabinets can be used to store cutlery and plates and the counter to serve food when guests are over. Intelligent use of space, we say!

Extended Dining or Reader’s Delight?

Gurgaon home decor

Doesn’t this corner look unique and appealing? This is yet another wall niche which is utilised brilliantly to create extra seating for friends and family during mealtimes. Pallavi gave them a fully upholstered floor-to-ceiling niche seating, with pendant lamps that could be used while they enjoy a book and a cup of coffee. We are crushing on this design!

Beige Dreams

Gurgaon home decor

There’s something in this room that the couple absolutely wanted — the trims on the wall behind the bed. Pallavi mastered this intricate detailing in terms of alignment and positioning. The carmen bed with a button tufted wingback headboard in ivory nude is such a treat to the eyes. A perfect break from the greys!

“It was a delight to work for the couple, since they were very open to new ideas and were quick with decisions. I could give them practical solutions and a design that they envisioned.”

Alok Gupta was deprived of the chance to decorate his first home due to personal reasons. However, it boosted his determination to get his next home done up like a dream. With this in mind, the family approached Livspace and met their designer, Pulkit Manchanda.

Warm and snug, the master bedroom is simple yet elegant. Here too, the golden trims work their magic in creating a grand appearance. The leather tufted headboard gives it a touch of opulent comfort. However, the ivory membrane finish of the wardrobe balances the overall look.

Pulkit had to put in extra efforts to create a perfect design. The wardrobes have varying depths as there were many pillars on the wall obstructing a seamless design.

The room also features a compact study with an Eiffel base shell chair that compliments the aesthetics. It is a practical design that can seamlessly cater to his growing needs.

The enthusiastic couple thus began the journey to get their first home designed. Take a look at how their home turned out.

A Serene Entryway

Noida home decor

As you enter this Noida address, you are greeted by a calming aura. This comes in the form of a Ganesha idol mounted on a ledge in front of halo-like board, with LED lights at the bottom. Firstly, the sight is so soothing to the eyes,  it makes you fall in love with the home already. Furthermore, the shoe rack makes sure that space is not wasted and it helps keep the foyer tidy.

The wall right adjacent to the foyer has these classic wall hangings, beneath which is positioned a comfortable two-seater sectional. While it adds to the beauty of the area, it also gives an alternative seating option in between the foyer and the living. We love this concept, suggested by Vedansh, which makes use of the empty wall space.

Also, a preparation counter makes it easy to whip up cocktails and stainless steel glass holders complete this unit. In addition to this, the mirror and lacquer finish backdrop lends a classy touch to this space!

Monish’s parents deserve a room where they can relax and Vedansh made sure he selected the right colours for this space. A glittering textured wall with matching drapes and a similar, cappuccino-hued headboard that is fully upholstered, is the perfect recipe for those who are retired and deserve to kick back.

Industrial Meets Modern

Vedansh gave the master bedroom a mix of modern and industrial aesthetics. This includes an exposed brick wallpaper that the couple fell in love with at our Experience Centre in Okhla. While they wanted the same for their bedroom, Vedansh kept the rest of the look minimal, to balance out elements. A fully upholstered wingback bed and the wooden floor adds warmth to this room.

“I think I would name this project as the perfect home that comes straight out of 3D renders. I loved working in the huge space since it gave me a lot of scope to play around with designs. Tanvi and Mohnish were very hospitable and open to new ideas.”

In a city that is teeming with people and cars, you’ll find yourself constantly craving an escape. But if you, like the Kalias, have the option of a quick getaway within close proximity, consider yourself blessed! The Kalias who live in New Delhi went all out to get their weekend getaway in Gurgaon to be done up so that they could relax with family and friends.

When they contacted Livspace to get their home party-ready, they knew exactly what they wanted for the interiors. A lot of whites and space utilisation were a couple of their prerequisites. In addition, a spacious living and dining area also needed to be set up to expect plenty of visitors over the weekends.

Utility-laden Foyer

Gurgaon house decor

The foyer in this home is a unique combination of style and utility. The Kalias wanted a space to stow away things they don’t use on a daily basis and Pallavi came up with the best solution – she gave them a shoe rack-cum-seating unit and added storage on top. With a sparkly white finish, this corner is radiant and is very functional!

For Dining Pleasure

The Kalias wanted a dining area that does not look boring or common. Since they host a lot of parties at home, they wanted a dining table that would accommodate more people. So, Pallavi gave them a sleek solid wood dining table with an A-line design at the bottom. Also, the dining chairs are upholstered in beige leatherette that plays match with the sofas in the living room.

Heavenly & Soothing Design

Gurgaon house decor

Gurgaon house decor

Aishwarya’s bedroom is a good example of what a young adult’s room should look. She was particular about having a fully mirrored sliding wardrobe! A leatherette upholstered bed ensures that this room is totally pet-friendly, since their pet stays in this room most of the time. Additionally, a bed without a headboard allows unhindered flow of air into the room through the window.

Gurgaon house decor

The dressing corner design is straight out of Pinterest, and this was something that they wanted from the beginning. A huge floor-standing mirror and a red pouf with ornate golden legs — such a pretty installation for a girl’s bedroom. Perfect, we say!

For Happy Vibes

Gurgaon house decor

Gurgaon house decor

Gurgaon house decor

The master bedroom is designed in white, with a matte finish bed and side tables, and white walls with a subtle self design. Add to it a silver/beige-coloured wingback headboard, this bedroom looks like a dream! We love how easy and streamlined the design and colours are in this room.

Gurgaon house decor

Anita wanted to utilise every inch of space in the master bedroom, since she has a lot of stuff to store. This way, she wouldn’t have to go to the trouble of moving it around a lot. Therefore, Pallavi gave them a storage unit with drawers and cabinets on top, in white matte finish. Space was specially created for this unit, by blocking out one of the windows that was of no use. Smart idea!

“It was a pleasure to design for the Kalias, since they knew exactly what they wanted. Decision-making was easy and quick and I enjoyed working on this project!”

The TV room is also dipped in neutrals as an extension to the general tenor of the living and dining spaces. Most importantly, adding flavour to this space is the pickle-green chenille ottoman and the exposed brick wall. The sofa-cum-bed provides a cosy place to put up your feet during movie time.

A Touch of Tranquility

The master bedroom features a minty hue that is refreshing and mild. In addition, the upholstered headboard keeps the ambience of the room snug. Giving the room a cheery uplift is a floral upholstered bench that Priya added.

The spring-like feel in the parents’ room is delightful; all credits go to the lime-green wallpaper with leafy prints. While the design is minimalist with just a bed and console table, the bright spacious look is a cheery milieu to snuggle in.

“It was great to work with Harneet as she gave me freedom with work with different design elements. Our design perspectives matched and she welcomed my suggestions openly.”

In a bustling city like Bengaluru, you need some peace and calm after a gruelling day at work. The city’s’ infrastructure in growing at a fast pace and having a home in one of the quieter corners is a godsend.

Our client, Uday Kumar, approached us to design this apartment that he had acquired and now wanted to give it a new face. Livspace interior designer, Smitha Mole, whose speciality is designing kitchens, took up the challenge and decided to give him his dream home. This cozy apartment is essentially done up in white and blue while every detail is taken care of. You should not miss taking a tour of this gorgeous property.

A White Welcome!

Goyal footprints interiors

The entrance to this cozy apartment is as bright as it can get, quite literally! Smitha, the designer, has given a shoe-cum-display rack to create a foyer of sorts. It also acts as a divider between the foyer and the rest of the home. The residents can use it to display artefacts and store their shoes in the cabinets.

A Living that Resonates Peace!

The living room is done up in chirpy shades of blue and white! The wall behind the sofa was conceptualised by Smitha, to be created into an accent wall with grey and light yellow colours. It’s a perfect break from the whites and blues that rule this space. Two abstract print ottomans play match and act as additional seating.

The TV unit is a functional unit built in slate and white hues. Featuring open shelves for display and cabinets for storage, this is the perfect piece of furniture for a compact home. A glossy white panel acts as the backdrop, while strip light light up the corners of the same!

A Dining Room That Radiates!

Anyone who walks into this home is floored by the superbly designed dining room! Who would think that such a compact home could have such a statement dining area. The mirrored wall panel opens up the space and reflects maximum light, while the trims on the wall give it a European feel. The dining table is a six seater, with a bench on one side, to provide for extra seating, just in case!

Modular Kitchens Redefined!

Modular kitchen designs is the expertise of Smitha and she excels in this field. This kitchen borrows colours from the living room, to maintain harmony, while the modules provided are super functional. The rolling shutter hides away all the electrical appliances, while corner units, drawers and cabinets take care of storage. The backsplash, although busy, is a treat to the eyes!

A Functional Bedroom

The bedroom in this snug apartment might be space-crunched, but that did not stop Smitha from giving it a designer spin. She gave the wall behind the bed, a stone finish panel in the niche, and matched it with the blue and white theme. It has LED lights on the sides that light it up beautifully. The herringbone pattern on the headboard of the dark wood bed looks intriguing, while the frosty white wardrobes with drawers and a full mirror seal the deal!

“Uday gave me complete freedom on the designing front, and trusted me completely with my decisions. I loved playing around with mixing and matching styles to give the home a unique look!”

Striking colours & happy people complete this Goregaon home design.

Goregaon home design

Who livs here: Spruha Joshi with her husband Varad Laghate and his parents

Location: Radha Krishna building, Goregaon East, Mumbai

Size of home: 2 BHK, spanning 600 sq ft

Design team: Interior Designer Ritika Parab with Quality Managers Lokesh Chakothia and Trinath Kapal

Livspace service: Living room and kitchen design

Budget: ₹₹₹₹₹

What do you do when you love posh, hotel-like interiors, but your wife loves all things Bohemian and colourful? Well, you get in touch with someone who can tie the two styles together. This is exactly what Varad Laghate, a digital marketer by profession, and Spruha Joshi, a famous Marathi actress, did when they decided to get their lovely abode designed. They contacted Livspace, and Ritika Parab, their designer, took on the humongous task of marrying the two sensibilities in the most perfect way.

Take a tour of this dreamy home, nestled in Goregaon East, Mumbai, to understand how to turn a house into a home.

Breezy Living

Goregaon home design

Goregaon home design

There are very few homes that spell awe with every step you take. Spruha and Varad’s home is one such place that has all the boxes ticked when it comes to design, colour, style and vibe. As you walk into this snug apartment, a Caribbean turquoise couch welcomes you. As your eyes move around the home, you notice the matching wall that stands right opposite the couch. An ash grey sofa-cum-bed occupies the space that lies in front of the accent wall. A ladder-style bookshelf on the opposite wall adds to the functionality and design quotient of this living room.

Goregaon home design

When you have such a Bohemian vibe running through your home, you have to get the furniture right too. Ritika gave the family natural wood-finish furniture that blends perfectly with the design aesthetics of their home. Due to the space constraints, she gave them this sleek table with stools that slide in. While the wall-hung ledges act as display racks for trophies and awards, the tall unit provides space for cutlery.

A Quiet Reading Corner

Goregaon home design

Alongside acting, Spruha, also reads and writes poetry, something that she enjoys and unwinds with. Since, the home overlooks the maximum city, Ritika gave Spruha and Varad, a cozy corner to sit and read in. The corner of the sofa-sum-bed is in line with the window, and acts as a “me time” corner for the couple. Throw in some quirky cushions and a cup of coffee, and they’re all set!

Kitchen Essentials

Goregaon home design

When you are a close-knit family of four and you enjoy cooking, you need a fully equipped kitchen that is easy to operate in. Spruha loves to fill her life and home with colours. Therefore, Ritika gave the family a brightly-coloured kitchen with lime green cabinets and a black countertop. Offset by white porcelain subway tiles for the backsplash, this kitchen has all modern amenities packed into a compact space!

Goregaon home design

“It’s a pleasure to work for celebrities who are so down-to-earth. Spruha and Varad wanted a home that is filled with blue, since it is soothing. I worked out a design that would do both, suit their needs and look appealing!”

Ritika Parab, Livspace Interior Designer

These Mumbai house images look airy and spacious after a beautiful transformation.

Mumbai house images

Who livs here: Sumedha Naik with her husband, two kids and a pet dog

Location: Golden Square, Mumbai

Home Size: 2 BHK spanning 785 sqft.

Design team: Interior Designer Hansika Mota with Quality Manager Rupesh Kadam

Livspace service: Full home design

Budget: ₹₹₹₹₹

For an affable family of five (including the furry one), a renovation was in queue to ensure their home mirrors their joyful personality. Sumedha Naik wanted to move on from the wooden tones to convert her kitchen into a cheery retreat.

This is where Hansika Mota, Livspace interior designer, steps in and suggested a beautiful blue to make things interesting. Thus, the space took on an uber modern look with white cabinets and a stunning glass backsplash. Seeing the beautiful transformation, Sumedha wanted her living room to match the contemporary feel.

Blue Therapy!

Mumbai house images

For our client, Sumedha, letting go of the navy blue wall was not an option. Thus, the whole theme revolves around this vibrant colour. A button-tufted roll back sofa takes on a muted palette to balance the colours in the living room.

Warm notes with wooden furniture enrich the look. The wall-mounted entertainment unit clears floor space giving it an airy feel and making it easy to clean. An old ledge beside the window was converted into an added seating area with storage units for optimum utilisation of space.

Dining with Statement Accents

Mumbai house images

A compact glass-top dining table finds its place in the living room with a sleek bench, enough for a cosy family of four. Another striking feature in this area is the electric blue and white crockery unit, that is fully glass shuttered with two drawers at the bottom. It’s the perfect combination of display and storage.

Mumbai house images

From a regular dark wooden version, this piece of furniture is revamped to suit the theme at home, with a white frame and a fresh blue-painted background. This is ideal to feature all their prized cutlery collection as it pops out, making it a delightful display.

Statement Passageway

Mumbai house images Mumbai house images

The passage beside the kitchen and living room takes on an industrial look. The exposed brick wall adds warmth to the space with the colour of the red brick tiles. A stylish bar unit is set against the backdrop of the brick wall under a small trunk, which acts as a decor element.

A Popping Kitchen

Mumbai house images

Initially, an L-shape kitchen layout, which did not offer maximum utilisation of space. Thus, it adorns a parallel design with ivory and grey shades for a bright look. Now, the washing machine which took shelter in the living room also fits into the kitchen.

Mumbai house images

Sumedha’s main concern was storage, thus plenty of drawers find place to offer maximum usage of space. This solution is very functional and lets her organise all her stuff with ease. A tall unit houses appliances like the microwave oven, along with others.

The electric blue back-painted glass gives the kitchen’s aesthetics a beautiful boost. Wicker baskets keep vegetables fresh and neatly organised, keeping the kitchen ergonomics on point!

“Sumedha and her husband gave some superb design inputs and we built a great rapport with each other. I was able to gauge her colour preferences and in the end she was very happy with the output. I thoroughly enjoyed working on this one!”

— Hansika Mota, Livspace Interior Designer

We love how this beautiful home has transformed into a lively hub with buoyant colours taking centre stage. While wooden notes are warm, a contemporary design can never fail to add the wow factor! If you love this transformation we’re sure you’ll want to check out this quirky home.

A Magical Mumbai Home Makeover

We used our grey cells to put together this small house design. Take a tour.

Small house design

Who livs here: Sujit Nair with his wife Shubha and daughter Shreya

Location: Goregaon West, Mumbai

Size of home: 1 BHK spanning, 420 sq ft

Design team: Interior Designer Ashlesha Katti with Quality Managers Lokesh Jakhotia and Yallappa Patil

Livspace service: Full home design

Budget: ₹₹₹₹₹

This home has undergone a miraculous change from drab to fab! The Nairs were living at this address for the last few years, and that’s when Sujit decided to gift a home designed by experts, to his wife and daughter. There’s something so sweet about this, that we thought of showing you how beautifully Ashlesha Katti, their designer, gave shape to their dream home.

Take a tour around this amazing 1BHK in bustling Goregaon, in Mumbai and find out for yourself, how compact spaces are designed. We love how Ashlesha has used grey, the couple’s favourite colour, in every corner, so elegantly. You just cannot miss this one.

Welcome Home!

Small house design

Before this home was about to witness magic, there was a very shabby set-up in the living room. Ashlesha, decided to give the living room a design that would promote family time. For this, she placed the sofas against the walls and pointed them towards the TV unit. This was done to give the living room, a more concise and streamlined look.

Small house design

Well, if you thought this was just a simple TV unit with storage, you might want to hold on to that thought. As the Nairs are very fond of the colour grey, Ashlesha had to work it in the designs she gave for every corner, including the entertainment unit. This TV unit has cabinets for storing stuff and shelves for displaying curios, that the couple loves collecting. The L-shaped mirror is a shutter, where Sujit’s mom keeps her things handy. The TV unit is done up in white and grey while the wall behind it has a wonderful texture paint on it.

Small house design

The family loves reading and spending time by themselves, which called for a space that would act as cozy reading nook. Ashlesha designed a ledge by the window in the living room with storage underneath. This was the perfect corner for all the members of the family, to unwind with a book.

A Smart Kitchen-Cum-Dining

Small house design

Small house design

The cozy 1BHK was shouting out for some breathing space, and that’s when Ashlesha decided to break down a wall and create an open layout for the kitchen-cum-dining room. This compact kitchen houses a tall unit, modular fixtures and a fully tiled backsplash. The family can have conversations while cooking, and the home can enjoy an airy vibe.

Splashes of Colour for the Bedroom

Small house design

Small house design

The bedroom has a very fresh feel, with yellow and white sheer drapes that add some much-needed colour to this home. Ashlesha also gave them this lovely chevron print wallpaper behind the bed and the TV unit. That adds so much character to this room.

Small house design

Small house design

Small house design

A lot of storage is what they needed in the bedroom, with some open space for the daughter to play around. Since, this room is shared by the couple and their child, Ashlesha had to keep in mind all their needs. She gave them niches above the bed and on the dresser, which took care of their display needs. The study table acts as a work from home den for Sujit and as a learning corner for Shreya.

Small house design

Since Shubha is a teacher by profession, she likes to have a dedicated space to teach her daughter. So, Ashlesha gave them this seating-cum-storage bench, where the mother-daughter duo spend their evenings, reading and learning. Throw in some cushions for comfort and they are all set!

Small house design

“It was a challenging project, because the clients wanted their entire home to be designed using grey. I had to work that into the design without making it look monotonous. But in the end, I like taking up challenges and was able to give them what they wanted, with inputs that would fit in perfectly!”
