You are bound to feel the warmth this home exudes as soon as you enter!

Bangalore home interior design

Who livs here: Dhanikh Palassery with his wife Jaysha and 4-year-old daughter Deetya

Location: UKN Interlaken, Doddanekkundi, Bengaluru

Room Size: 1,150 sq ft approx.

Design team: Interior Designer Divyalakshmi with Project Manager Manoj Kumar

Livspace service: Kitchen & Wardrobes

Budget: ₹₹₹₹₹

Buying a dream house for your family can be quite a daunting task, not to mention, getting the interiors done! Our client Dhanikh Palassery’s wife Jaysha had the task of finding the most suitable interior designer in the city. Coming from a product designing profession, aesthetics and design were crucial for Dhanikh. So when they found Livspace, it seemed like their home would be in good hands.

A few late-evening meetings and visits later, the journey to their dream home began with us! Additionally, designer Divyalakshmi proves that a stylish and minimalist household can be an attainable luxury, even with a little one running around. Take a look!

A Warm Welcome

Bangalore home interior design

Upon entering this cosy Bengaluru address, I was greeted by this pleasing family of three relaxing happily in their living room. Post pleasantries, my eyes move directly towards an intricate jaali cut divider in Mahogany finish which stands pretty on my right. While talking to Divyalakshmi, their interior designer, I found out that the family which hails from Kerala, loves Mahogany. Right opposite the sofas, the TV unit in Mahogany adorns the wall.

Designed smartly, the TV unit can conceal wires and therefore, the couple opted for panelling on the wall. The wall is kept blank, since the couple wanted their little one to do the damage first, and then cover up with wallpaper later. Smart, indeed!

Smart Kitchen

Bangalore home interior design

Bangalore home interior design

Divyalakshmi, with her unerring sense of design and functionality, gave the kitchen a complete makeover. Jaysha had complete authority to decide what she wanted in this corner of the house. She wanted a very easy-to-work-in modular kitchen, complete with drawers, cabinets, and dustbin and bottle pullouts. We also installed frosted glass shutters to keep things handy and accessible, yet concealed.

Breakfast by the Balcony

Bangalore home interior design

The breakfast counter doesn’t just maintain aesthetics in the home. While it sits pretty at the entrance of the open plan kitchen, it is also their daughter, Deetya’s learning corner. She sits there and studies, while her mama cooks up a storm!

Smartly Designed Crockery and Pooja Unit

Bangalore home interior design

Dhanikh and Jaysha, both hail from families that love having crockery units at home. Therefore, Divyalakshmi has designed a customised version which is replete with plenty of space in terms of drawers, shelves, cabinets and an open shelf to store extra stuff while hosting parties.

Bangalore home interior design

The jaali on one side of the crockery unit matches the jaali partition separating the living and the dining areas, to create a flow in design. Divyalakshmi designed this portion of the crockery unit in such a way that it can be used as a pooja unit, too. Also, glass shutters make it easy for the couple to display their exclusive dinnerware in style!

Spacious and Sensible Storage

Bangalore home interior design

The wardrobes in the master and the kids’ room is customised completely to each one’s needs. Dark Walnut and Acacia finishes add warmth to the wardrobes and sleek stainless steel handles make sure that they are long-lasting and easy to operate.

“We used to have a lot of late evening meetings and odd visits to the experience center to decide upon various things. But, the couple was lovely to work with and they knew exactly what they want. This made it easier for me to design and deliver perfectly!”

– Divyalakshmi, Livspace Interior Designer

Opulence and elegance welcome you with every step you take in this World Crest home!

Mumbai home interiors

Location: World Crest, Lower Parel, Mumbai

Home Size: 1,450 sq ft approx.

Design team: Interior Designer Pallavi Goel with Project Manager Ravindra Panchal

Livspace service: Full home design

Budget: ₹₹₹₹₹

We are super excited to present to you, this upscale property in Lower Parel, Mumbai, which we had the opportunity to revamp. When our clients approached Livspace, all they wanted was a overhaul of their kitchen. A couple of days later, Livspace designer, Pallavi Goel, along with her designing skills, convinced them to get their entire abode redone and voila, magic happened!

This home is a statement in itself, thanks to the amazing chemistry between Pallavi and the clients. The entire design started coming through brilliantly and each room stood out effortlessly. We love how this home celebrates a fusion of styles and design sensibilities!

A Rustic Welcome

Mumbai home interiors

Doesn’t this rustic chest of drawers and the ornate mirror ooze an old world charm? The foyer to this fetching apartment houses this rustic beauty, only to lead you to a house full of surprises! You’ll see.

Livin’ the Life

Mumbai home interiors

The living room is breathtaking with a view to boot! We love how our designer Pallavi Goel has created this elegant setting fusing different styles, without going overboard. The Victorian accent chairs match the plush upholstered ottoman, while the cream couch adds grace to this space. The red painting adds an element of fire to the room and is the centre point of focus in this room!

Mumbai home interiors

The rustic entry gives way to this uber cool, abstract console table in the foyer. The brass legged table set against the dark wood wall paints such a chic picture! Talk about blending design aesthetics!

Dine in Style

Mumbai home interiors

Across the living room you will find the muted dining room with light blue upholstered dining chairs. A sneak peek of the dining table shows a glass top with wooden logs for legs. It exudes a rustic yet modern feel that we personally love. Plenty of natural light seeps in through the arched balcony, that lights up this corner!

For the Bookworms

Mumbai home interiors

Just the mere sight of this serene corner is enough to kindle the reader in us. Done up entirely in dark walnut wood finish, this library was carved out of the powder room, which wasn’t of much utility to the couple. Pallavi has given them this pretty reading nook that is complete with ample shelves and cozy seating for some me time!

A Statement Bar

Mumbai home interiors

Mumbai home interiors

Well, kudos to the couple and Pallavi for having this super quirky installation in their balcony. They converted the front mask of a Tata truck into a bar unit with Pallavi’s help. It’s quirky, unique and customised to stock liquor. We are totally crushing on this, and guess what? The headlights actually work! Get ready for some drinking with a highway kind of experience!

Mumbai home interiors

One for the Guests

Mumbai home interiors

Mumbai home interiors

The turquoise blue bed is so inviting, you can just imagine sinking into it. This guest bedroom is used by the couple’s parents when they visit. Keeping the elderly in mind, Pallavi has given them two comfortable and practical accent chairs right across the bed to enjoy their morning read and coffee. They have been given a TV unit for entertainment while they rest in the room.

Mumbai home interiors

The balcony in the guest bedroom is such a pretty sight that we can hardly take our eyes off it! The rattan chairs and coffee table are durable enough to withstand the Mumbai rains and look stylish at the same time.

A Child’s Paradise

Mumbai home interiors

The kids’ room is so dreamy, yet so simple. The highlight is the peppy red couch that is essentially used by the parents when they are reading bedtime stories to their little one. The tall unit beside the cot has drawers with fabric on them and holds all the toys within. Convenient and coordinated, the cot and the tall unit play match. Kids would just love this room!

Mumbai home interiors

The wallpaper in this room was appropriately selected by the tiny one who has to stay in it. He went for a fun tractor print wallpaper with a light blue background that matches with the rest of the room.

Mumbai home interiors

Sitting right across the couch and the cot, is the cutesy study table with chairs in powder blue. This is used by their son, who loves reading. The bright blue corner is the little one’s own little library that has wall mounted ledges that can house all his books! The pretty tent beside the table is what the kid calls, his friend’s home! Who are his friends you ask? Well, all the stuffed toys he owns live inside this little tent.

Mumbai home interiors

The wardrobe in this room is no ordinary installation. The blue and white theme has been kept in mind while designing this corner of the room as well. The fun figurines on the wardrobe are actually hand painted and come with a lot of storage for all his clothes! The open storage beside it is given for his toys and games.

It’s Play Time

Mumbai home interiors

The balcony in the kid’s room is given a breath of fresh air with a fibre grass mat and a picnic bench that is foldable. The couple’s son can enjoy the park-like feel while relaxing with his books and toys here.

The Royal Master Bedroom

Mumbai home interiors

The master bedroom is an amalgamation of elegant and offbeat design aesthetics. On one side, Pallavi has given the couple a rich blue upholstered bed with a cream wall, while on the other side, she has given them a quirky wallpaper with matching accent chairs.

Mumbai home interiors

We love how airy this room feels, with all the light seeping in through the balcony. There’s wall-to-wall panelling behind the TV unit which hides the unsightly tangle of wires. The storage for the set-top box and other essentials has been given underneath. This part of the room feels elegant and comfy at the same time!

Stylish Kitchen

Mumbai home interiors

While the kitchen flaunts brick tiles on one side, it sports ravishing red-hued cabinets on the other. Also, the little one can accompany the parents in the kitchen while they cook up a storm, given the breakfast counter that’s been installed.

Mumbai home interiors

The red cabinets are so spacious that they can hold all the crockery that the couple owns. This area also houses the oven, the coffee maker and other utilities. Additionally, the brick tiles that have a very sketchy feel because of the black outline on them.

Mumbai home interiors

We also have to mention the beautifully hand painted knobs that add so much character to the kitchen. They fit effortlessly into this space!

A Mumbai couple’s home that scores high on style and aesthetics!

Mumbai home interiors

Who livs here: Mrs. and Mr. Tripathi with their daughters

Location: Lodha Property, Parel, Mumbai

Size of home: 1,400 sq ft approx.

Design team: Interior Designers Avneet Kaur Hanspal and Pallavi Goel with Project Manager Ravindra Panchal

Livspace service: Full home design

Budget: ₹₹₹₹

What started as just a basic interior upgrade, turned into an overall makeover for this interesting couple’s Mumbai home. A banker by profession, Mrs. Tripathi approached Livspace with the intent to give her living and dining area a facelift. But after the initial rendezvous with designer Avneet, the couple decided to get their entire home retouched! In stepped Pallavi, their designer for the rest of the home and gave their paradise a magical spin!

Set in a bustling neighbourhood in the city of dreams, this home features an enchanting amalgamation of classical and contemporary design aesthetics! Take a tour of this captivating home and find out why we’re all hooked!

Festive Foyer

Mumbai home interiors

As you enter the Tripathi residence in Parel, your eyes come to rest on intricately carved wooden chairs in the foyer and a captivating painting on the wall that reminds one of palace corridors. Apart from being beautiful, these chairs have a purpose. Mr. Tripathi’s mom sits here to supervise while she’s visiting them.

Mumbai home interiors

Complete harmony is maintained between the foyer and the pooja corner which sits perpendicularly opposite to it. The chairs and the wooden panel play match with the jaali panels that adorn this divine corner where the family prays together!

A Warm Welcome

Mumbai home interiors

The living area displays the beautiful marriage between classical and modern elements. Take a look at the centre and side tables in laser-cut metal embellished in a soothing golden yellow tone. It blends beautifully with the style of the room. Comfort and style rank high with plush upholstered sofas, accent chairs and dreamy ceiling-to-floor drapes!

Mumbai home interiors

While in conversation, Mrs. Tripathi told us about her love for the Taj properties around the country and how she has a soft corner for furniture that’s curvy and classical on similar lines. As a result, you see this curvaceous beauty in the living room that makes this area look royal!

Dine with Panache

Mumbai home interiors

Our designer Avneet Kaur, gave the dining room a slight makeover with a big impact! For a warm and comfortable dining room setup, Avneet gave them a sleek wooden dining table and chairs positioned to make the most of the breathtaking view for meal times. The bar unit was extended to a crockery unit with a built-in piano for their elder daughter to practice her music lessons.

Bedroom Getaway

Mumbai home interiors

Mumbai home interiors

While talking to Pallavi Goel, Livspace designer, we found out that Mrs. Tripathi, our client, was very particular about wanting a spacious and elegant couple’s bedroom. So, she designed a fully mirrored wardrobe and pristine white side tables that match the marble flooring. The powder blue, fully upholstered and button tufted headboard amplifies the comfort quotient in this room.

Perfect for Two

Mumbai home interiors

This room is the stuff of dreams. Cute polka dotted fabric wraps the bed to match the walls, while the girly-print blinds and hanging planters in the balcony seal the deal for Tripathi’s little angels.

Mumbai home interiors

Mirror panelled wardrobes for the girls with their names etched on them! It’s creative and a great way to personalise a room. Also, talk about teaching kids how to respect each other’s space! We love this idea!

A Touch of Glamour

Mumbai home interiors

The guest bedroom is done up in a royal blue theme that promotes a healthy state of mind and positive energy. This room is occupied by the couple’s parents, when they come visiting. Hence, Pallavi gave them compact wall-mounted side tables that could hold all their night time essentials.

Mumbai home interiors

When the Tripathi’s parents are not visiting them, this room is Mr. Tripathi’s working den! For someone who works from home most of the time, a study area with dedicated shelves for gadgets with charging points and ample space for books is a must. So Pallavi made sure this need was catered to.

“I loved how Avneet and Pallavi were so quick in understanding our needs, because we really did not want to spare a lot of time explaining what we wanted. They were very efficient and we loved the entire experience with Livspace!”

– Mrs. Tripathi, Livspace Homeowner

“The couple were so easy to work with! Mrs. Tripathi knew exactly what she wanted in every room and as an interior designer, I was given complete liberty to work around their requirements. It worked out since the very first pitch and the entire project went on smoothly.”

A Stylish Mumbai Home Designed for a Pilot Couple

A classy home that mirrors the lifestyle of an energetic, ‘high-flying’ couple.

apartment interiors in mumbai

Who livs here: Haribansh R Singh with his wife Anchal Sahani

Location: Raheja Ridgewood, Goregaon East, Mumbai

Size: A 3BHK home spanning 1,100 sq.ft.

Design team: Interior designer Ritika Parab with Project Manager Dhanraj Lekhrao and Yallappa Patil

Livspace service: Full Home Design

Budget: ₹₹₹₹₹

Haribansh Singh (Harry), wanted a perfect home that reflects his lifestyle. After two years of patient searching, the Raheja Ridgewood apartment fit in perfectly with his vision. The apartment gave him an uninterrupted view of Mumbai which was perfect for his timeout from piloting aircrafts. He then approached Livspace for apartment interiors in Mumbai.

When Livspace designer Ritika Parab, came into the picture, she was excited to create a stunning design for the young couple. In addition to her passion for designing, having mutual friends also helped her understand their preferences in depth. Also, Harry wanted to surprise his parents with a beautiful bedroom customised to their liking.

Cafe-inspired Living

apartment interiors in mumbai

The hectic schedule of the pilot couple makes it hard to step out and socialise. Thus, they decided to bring in a cafe-like experience at home. As a result, the living room design took shape with a beautiful exposed brick wall accentuated by rustic motorcycle wall art acts as a highlight.

apartment interiors in mumbai

The open and airy layout of the living room was further enhanced by the tall bookshelf that gives the space a visually uniform look. Additionally, Ritika tactically placed the tall unit to complete the room and make space for symmetrical seating. The bright blues and floral print in the upholstery offers a break from monotony.

Delectable Dining Experience

Browns and beiges reign supreme in the dining room (as seen above). The elegant tufted dining chairs add to the exuberance of the room. The metallic textures of the lights and the accent pieces anchor the visual appeal.

A Divine Corner

apartment interiors in mumbai

Most noteworthy is this addition: the dining space also includes a beautiful pooja room that is separated by a movable jali partition. The mirror finish on the wall makes the space look spacious and bright.

An Elegant Kitchen

apartment interiors in mumbai

Moving away from the conventional notion that white is hard to maintain, the couple opted for a white acrylic. Ritika added the glossy marble tile to suit Anchal’s love for green hues. The kitchen blends in with the classy theme of the home.

apartment interiors in mumbai

A dedicated wet area allows them to use the different functions without interruption.

apartment interiors in mumbai

Ample storage options make the kitchen easy-to-use and provides a clutter-free space.

A Stylish Abode

apartment interiors in mumbai

Harry decided to gift the master bedroom to his parents. Although Ritika couldn’t meet them personally — as it was a surprise — she understood their lifestyle in detail through Harry. Consequently, she created a plush bedroom with black painted glass and wooden trims as the accent wall, a cube-shaped tufted headboard, and classy furniture.

apartment interiors in mumbai

The room also houses a study that Harry’s dad uses for reading or writing. The hues were balanced to avoid being flashy yet send out an elegant vibe. It is a graceful room that his parents are quite impressed with.

Classy Setting

apartment interiors in mumbai

The couple’s bedroom is also flamboyant with enchanting back panel designs made of leatherette and mirrors. While the chocolaty texture is warm, the design was fabricated to include clean lines, minimal furniture and ample storage.

apartment interiors in mumbai

The guest bedroom doubles as a media room. The entertainment unit is tailor-made to suit the home theatre system they purchased. Lined with heavy drapes for the theatrical experience, the couple lounge here watching their favourite shows.

apartment interiors in mumbai

The dark colour palette and matte finishes used in this room ensure that light doesn’t reflect and disrupt the movie watching experience. As a result, Ritika has provided a mirror inside the wardrobe. She has also added a sofa-cum-bed for the use of guests.

Plush Bar Unit

apartment interiors in mumbai

The crockery-cum-bar sports a plush look with white and gold hues and a striking geometrical shape. Also, it occupies very little space, making it blend into the interiors.

“Designing for this couple was a fun and stress-free experience as they were straightforward and clear about their requirements.”

Ethnic Detailing at a Warm and Inviting Home in Bangalore

This Bangalore home left us delighted with its ethnic charm!

Bangalore home interiors

Who livs here: Aparna with her husband Ramji and their sons Pratosh and Prem

Location: Vaswani Ashton Woods, Bangalore

Home Size: 3,500 sq ft approx.

Design team: Interior Designer Tanu Jalan with Project Manager Rajkiran P

Livspace service: Full home design

Budget: ₹₹₹₹₹

Being a close friend of Livspace co-founder Ramakant Sharma, our client Aparna decided to try out Livspace for Bangalore home interiors to refurbish her sprawling villa. Also, recommendations and feedback from friends reinforced her decision and thus started our wonderful journey together. Aparna wanted to redo her ten-year-old property at Vaswani Ashton Woods in Bangalore, and wanted a trusted name to help her with it.

Livspace interior designer Tanu Jalan took this task at hand and the biggest challenge she faced, you ask? Well, keeping up with the beautifully traditional theme of the home, while giving the family a revamped space. We love the details in this airy villa!

A Traditional Welcome

Bangalore home interiors

As you enter this sprawling yet quaint villa, your eyes are instantly drawn to this wonderful jhula. Suspended on intricately designed ornate brass strings, the wooden swing is the most noteworthy and beautiful feature here. We love the warmth that wood infuses into their home. Additionally, the pillar in the corner is an old one that has been given a facelift!

Wowed by Wood

Bangalore home interiors

In the dining room too the use of wood lends a Chettinad-esque warmth that we love. Aparna was sure that she wanted her home to be bright and use a lot of wood. So Tanu extended their living and dining, to give them a huge balcony that brings a lot of sunshine. A big mirror was also placed strategically to make the space feel more spacious and light.

Contemporary and Complete Kitchen

Bangalore home interiors

The parallel kitchen is one space in the entire home that looks relatively contemporary. The high gloss Autumn Grey and Fosty White cabinets have been matched with the backsplash.

Bangalore home interiors

Bangalore home interiors

This kitchen is complete with drawers, thali units, bottle pull-outs, spice racks, tandem boxes, a microwave unit, double sink unit and frosted glass cabinets to display Aparna’s antique pickle jars. It is a great solution for a family that loves to cook and share their meals!

Bangalore home interiors

Bangalore home interiors

The countertop is a chic black granite that blends in perfectly well with the autumn grey cabinets and the tiled backsplash. The backsplash is inspired by traditional design and adds a dash of colour to the otherwise muted kitchen.

Bangalore home interiors

Not Just for the Guests

Bangalore home interiors

Bangalore home interiors

The guest bedroom is usually used by Ramji’s parents when they are visiting. Also, this is the only room in the home, except the entertainment area on the first floor, that has a television. The couple like creating conversation areas, rather than pointing the furniture towards the television. The TV unit in this room is attached to a compact study unit.

Add-on Storage Solutions

Bangalore home interiors

The master bedroom has this chest of drawers that has a lot of storage space. It can be used to dump extra stuff that the family does not need regularly. It is again made with warm wood laminate and frosty white table top to stay in sync with the theme of the home.

For Work and Play

Bangalore home interiors

The kids’ room is a perfect combination of fun and functionality for the couple’s sons, Pratosh and Prem. Aparna wanted a study unit that has demarcated shelves for both the kids, a move that would mean fewer fights! Where does the flight of stairs lead to, you ask? It leads to the secret den for the kids where they can store their toys, read or just goof around.

Bangalore home interiors

The light wood wardrobe has a high gloss white panel in the centre and sliding doors. This comfortably houses the clothes and belongings of both the boys on either side. Sleek and functional, this wardrobe blends in with the neutral theme of the room.

Bangalore home interiors

“I enjoyed working on this project since it was a little challenging. Aparna was actively involved during the entire design process, which was great! It’s always nice to have clients who put in their heart and soul into their homes!”

Tarun wanted shelves to accentuate the living room that would also give it an open and airy feel. Yashas was able to materialise this thought with hanging ledges that work well to decorate at any angle.

Wonder in Wood

simple interiors bangalore

The entertainment unit sports a subtle look with wooden finishes highlighting the area. The sleek design with custom storage conceals the equipment while inviting friends and family to enjoy movie night at their home.

The wicker baskets in contrast to adding cool neutrals, are a stunning and useful addition to the kitchen. It keeps onions and potatoes fresh. Yashas also added a glossy panel behind the chimney so that it is easy to clean the grime and oil stains. Smart thinking!

The hydraulic pull-up shutter gives the kitchen a fancy look. “Since it is an open kitchen, it gives a dramatic effect that can mesmerise their guests”, says Yashas.

The kitchen equipped with tandem drawers, cutlery units and bottle pulls makes cooking easy and fun. “I was surprised at how many vessels I can stack in the cabinets”, says Lacshmi. “It makes it easier to store everything in a neat and organised fashion.”

Compact yet Complete

simple interiors bangalore

A corner wardrobe in the Livspace design centre caught Tarun’s eye and the master bedroom offered the best place to set up this. Since he wants every room to be spacious, the design fits perfectly. Custom storage divisions make it easy to organise the clothes they possess.

simple interiors bangalore

A stunning appearance with American Walnut finish makes the wardrobe blend into the setting. The same laminate finish used in the TV panel completes the look. A full-length mirror serves as a dresser while adding glamour to the otherwise subtle design.

Wallow in White

The second bedroom has been designed with provisions for any additions to their family in the future. A white wardrobe with lofts will adapt to any theme and will give add-on storage.

A Striking Effect

As opposed to the rest of the house, the guest room wardrobe adopts a striking look in navy blue. Simple yet bold, it’s bound to set their guests and ease while providing them with ample storage.

Away from the hustle and bustle of the city and surrounded by a serene reserve forest, the Renaissance Woods provides a pleasant hideout to those who seek a break. Dharmakanth Todurkar and his wife Ashwini Gaonkar wanted the same tranquillity to reverberate in their home.

3BHK interiors bangalore

Thus their Livspace designer, Iesha Parekh, took a cue from this to create a beautiful haven with cool tones and a reviving ambience. A picturesque view mingled with a pacifying interior makes this home an intriguing abode.

A Sleek Design

3BHK interiors bangalore

Muted tones meet the eye in the foyer (left), alluring visitors and passersby alike. A handy storage for all knick-knacks and shoes, the place appears neat and trim. In contrast to this, a TV unit with warm wooden finish has been added.

Plush and Comfy

3BHK interiors bangalore

The same tones extend to the living room to fill the space with an airy and bright demeanour. A plush sofa, a tufted bench and a nested coffee table make for the best seats during a gathering.

3BHK interiors bangalore

A sleek and smart design for the TV unit occupies the opposite wall and gives the room a tinge of warmth. The panelling conceals the tangle of wires, giving the room a seamless look.

3BHK interiors bangalore

Designed to meet the space constraint at home, Iesha made sure each element has its own zone and created clean zones for movement. The result was a beautiful and streamlined look.

A Rustic Touch

3BHK interiors bangalore

The other side of the room has a compact yet beautiful dining set up with mismatched upholstery giving it a quirky effect. The incandescent bulbs and the wooden rafters contribute to its rustic, cafe-like vibe.

3BHK interiors bangalore

The couple wanted a spacious home and the furniture is placed well to ensure an undisturbed flow. The balcony window acts as a wonderful gateway to let sunlight and air into the room.

An Ounce of Divinity

3BHK interiors bangalore

The wooden rafters were extended to give the pooja corner an elegant twist. The trick worked so well that it mesmerises every guest with its appearance.

Bright and Bold

3BHK interiors bangalore

The kitchen is enchanting with the navy blue hues mixed with light grey velvet wall cabinets and pretty painted tiles. An unusual combination that many people steer clear from, it left the couple delighted!

3BHK interiors bangalore

Bewitching and eclectic, reminiscent of the Jewish synagogue in Fort Kochi, the hand-painted tiles add a graceful look to the kitchen. The different patterns enrapture the onlooker’s gaze.

Cooking can be effortless with plenty of easily accessible storage options. This includes cutlery units, bottle and spice pull-outs, pantry unit and tandem drawers. The soft-close mechanism eases the effort and makes sure there is less damage to the cabinets.

The patterned wallpaper matches the wooden tones of the room, making it rather glamorous. A window seat adds to the cheery atmosphere and is a perfect spot to enjoy a book and cup of coffee. Soothing to the eye and elegant in look, the room was perfect for  Dharmakanth’s mother.

The home interiors at JMD Gardens, Gurgaon, is a slice of heaven on earth!

Gurgaon home decor

Who livs here: Pradeep Goyal with his wife Neeta and their son Ishab

Location: JMD Gardens, Sohna Road, Gurgaon

Home Size: 1,500 sq ft approx.

Design team: Interior Designer Shilpa Garg with Project Manager Arjun Talwar

Livspace service: Full home design

Budget: ₹₹₹₹₹

We love it when our clients come to us for interior design services as a result of client recommendation. Neeta and Pradeep Goyal are one such client who placed their faith in us because of word-of-mouth reviews. Pradeep, who is the Vice President of Zee TV and Neeta, who handles her own business, engaged Livspace to design their exclusive abode in bustling Gurgaon.

Hailing from Punjab and having stayed in various cities across the country, Neeta has a very unique design and aesthetic sense. She wanted a home that stands out and something that no one has ever seen before! Shilpa Garg, Interior Designer at Livspace, was given the task of designing their home. Check out what the end results are!

A Regal Entry

Gurgaon home decor

When Shilpa was handed the task of designing a stunningly unique entrance for the Goyals, she was confused, to say the least! After gauging that Neeta wanted something royal and traditional for the main door, Shilpa finally came up with a unique design of her own. She gave the couple a solid wood door with traditional carving on it and antique handles. One wall was filled with a uniquely designed Ganesha and the other had beautiful flower carving. We were completely floored by the entrance!

Royal Living to Match

Gurgaon home decor

Neeta was very biased towards heritage style furniture and she wanted something along those lines for her living room to host her near and dear ones. Considering Neeta’s love for white and gold, Shilpa gave her this uber luxurious sofa and chaise in her favourite colours! The effect is a warm welcome with a rich finish.

For Family Time

Gurgaon home decor

Throughout the home, intricate details keep catching our eye. The dining room, though it looks very simple, is really not so! Take a look at those elegant fully upholstered dining chairs in beige, with tiny metal rings at the back to pull them out. Why? you ask! So that they do not get dirty when people hold them! That’s a smart idea, we say.

Gurgaon home decor

The dining table is no simple deal. It is a marble top table with a mother of pearl design on it. Resting on solid teak wood legs, dining on such a regal piece of furniture is a dream in itself!

Compact and Pretty

Gurgaon home decor

The kitchen is cosy but complete with all modern modules that one would need to get through daily life! With a tan brown granite countertop and ultra stylish dado tiles for the backsplash, it is a pleasure to cook up a storm in here. A hob unit and frosted glass cabinets overhead with light wood cabinetry complete the look!

For a Comfortable Stay

Gurgaon home decor

Gurgaon home decor

The guest bedroom was also designed keeping in mind the requirements of guests when they visit. Dedicated space for a mini fridge and luggage, it’s all sorted in this room! Talk about hotel-like amenities at home! And look at the curvy accent chair with that floral upholstery — such a fresh addition!

There’s Always Room for Quirk

Gurgaon home decor Gurgaon home decor

Ishab’s room is a breath of fresh air amidst the elegant white interiors all around the home. Designed in a combination of blue, grey and brown, this room has specks of quirky elements here and there. The first thing you will notice is the wooden beading with a glamorous gold polish on it above the headboard. This adds so much character to this space!

One for the Bookworm

Gurgaon home decor

Ishab is a studious kid who loves spending time with his books all by himself. Well, that’s the reason Shilpa has given him this ultra comfortable accent chair and ottoman where he can sit and study for hours at a stretch! The quirky lights with industrial bulbs add a young energy to this room.

Pristine Personal Sanctuary

Gurgaon home decor Gurgaon home decor

Neeta was certain about one thing — no wallpapers in any rooms, but still a different element on the walls to set it apart. So, Shilpa gave the couple’s bedroom a beautiful European floral jaali installation above the headboard, which looks really elegant. She worked off a white theme and the result is a look for the books!

Gurgaon home decor Gurgaon home decor

This minimalist bedroom features a combination of glossy white wardrobes and a TV unit with shelves for tiny essentials. An extra tall unit has been provided for storage. No nonsense cream hued drapes block any extra light from seeping in so that they can get a peaceful night’s sleep!

Matters of Vanity

Gurgaon home decor

Done up elegantly in white, these bathrooms are basic, beautiful and highly functional. Equipped with storage units that blend right in, these vanities put regular ones to shame.

Stylish Sit-outs

Gurgaon home decor

Greenery always adds freshness to a space, and we’re totally crushing over this pretty balcony! This is where the Goyal’s host parties with barbeques and all that jazz. The artificial grass curtain is not just beautiful, but also has a purpose — offers protection from nosy neighbours!

Gurgaon home decor

“Mrs Neeta Goyal was a very sweet client and she was particular about using the best quality products and a unique design for her home. While it was challenging, it was also very fulfilling to work on this project. I am very satisfied with the final design output.”

A plush Bengaluru home highlighted with stunning false ceiling designs.

2BHK interiors bangalore

Who livs here: R Lalithkumar and his wife Harsha Jain with their daughters Niriksha (8) and Khushi (7)

Location: Independent home in Shivajinagar, Bangalore

Home Size: 2BHK spanning 1,580 sq ft

Design team: Interior Designer Garima Shah with Project Manager Shreyas Madhusudhan

Livspace service: Full home design

Budget: ₹₹₹₹₹

With a business to tend to, Lalithkumar was in no position to deal with interiors for his home. Thus, his wife Harsha Jain and he sought a hassle-free experience from design to installation.

When Garima Shah, Livspace Designer, stepped into the picture, they knew that their worries will be put to a rest. After a fruitful discussion, a fabulous home with white scheme came into play with marble, onyx, wood and leather combinations.

A Stylish Entrance

2BHK interiors bangalore

Talk about a stunning first impression! This living room greets visitors with grandeur. Wooden slats in the false ceiling, an onyx TV panelling, wooden storage and a glossy marble floor to finish with, this jaw-dropping design is a luxurious treat.

2BHK interiors bangalore

Floating shelves and a smart corner unit makes display an easy task. It also adds functionality to an otherwise plain wall.

2BHK interiors bangalore

The sink unit with storage is appealing to guests, but also gives them plenty of space for towels and the works! The modish mirror adds a glam touch.

Keeping it Neutral

2BHK interiors bangalore

White glossy membrane finishes adorn the kitchen cabinets. This contrasts with a grey tiled backsplash, bringing a neutral feel to the kitchen and keeping it easy on the eyes.

2BHK interiors bangalore

On the myth of maintaining white kitchens being a nightmare, Harsha says, “Maintenance is easy as regular dusting does the trick. I can single-handedly manage the cooking and cleaning.”

2BHK interiors bangalore

A tall unit fitted with an oven and a roller shutter that stores other appliances provide a smooth flow during the cooking sessions. The cabinets are well-equipped with a cutlery unit, tandem drawers, spice pull outs, bin and detergent holders to make it easy to handle.

Stellar False Ceiling

2BHK interiors bangalore

As you walk towards the bedrooms the passage is accentuated by a stunning false ceiling. It’s a niche that harbours wooden panelling and a stylish pendant light.

2BHK interiors bangalore

The white panels are accentuated with LED lights for the dazzling effect. Great call on this one!

2BHK interiors bangalore

Living in Splendour

2BHK interiors bangalore

White is a personal favourite when it comes to this family, and the bedroom depicts the same with a beautiful design. The tufted leather headboard softens the appearance of the room while being fancy.

2BHK interiors bangalore

The mirrors double up as a dresser and help make the room look more spacious. Compact storage and a hydraulic queen size bed fit flawlessly into the design.

2BHK interiors bangalore

Simple and sleek furniture provides more floor space for the kids to run around.

2BHK interiors bangalore

The button tufted headboard is our personal favourite. It brings out a luxurious look while being easy on the eyes. Its soft texture and elegant appearance make it the main attraction in the room.

2BHK interiors bangalore

Being a compact room, the master bedroom lacked space for a full-fledged wardrobe, and yet, a twin two door wardrobes were accommodated at either end which blends in seamlessly and adds storage.

2BHK interiors bangalore

The all white appearance of the room is contrasted with a brown accent wall. It is a perfect setting for the onyx TV unit panels and tones down the brightness to a great extent.

For the Princesses

2BHK interiors bangalore

Harsha wanted the kids to have fun with a special room that resonates their passion for pink, princesses and prints. Thus, their room evolved into a place straight out of a fairy tale.

2BHK interiors bangalore

A white queen sized bed with a purple tufted headboard, a pink wallpaper with cartoon motifs has the kids all a-twitter. The wardrobe and storage bind the whole room together replicating the same hues.

2BHK interiors bangalore

The bedroom is everything a little girl would want and Harsha feels that kids need to enjoy their childhood so that they have something to look back on fondly.

2BHK interiors bangalore

2BHK interiors bangalore

Since the master bedroom lacks enough storage, Garima designed enough storage in the kids’ room with low lying drawers for the children and lofts to be used by the couple.

2BHK interiors bangalore

But the highlight of the room for their guests is the star-shaped false ceiling and cartoon printed fan — the icing on the cake.

A Stylish Study

2BHK interiors bangalore

The study is a small space which easily fits the two kids. It’s an ideal distraction-free zone for them to concentrate.

2BHK interiors bangalore 2BHK interiors bangalore

The white and wood mix in the storage makes for an elegant display. Their study materials and other trinkets can be organised neatly in the custom design.

“Every designer wants to work with white, but most clients shy away from the idea because of the maintenance involved. The family’s love for white made things easy and delightful.”

Rustic Charm with a Modern Twist

The home interiors at this Kengeri villa in Bangalore is not your run-of-the-mill design. It is warm, inviting and a beautiful blend of the country and city styles.

Location: Villa in Kengeri, Bangalore

Home Size: 4 BHK spanning 3,000 sq ft approx.

Design team: Interior Designer Iesha Parekh with Project Manager Shreyas Madhusudhan

Livspace service: Full home design

Budget: ₹₹₹₹₹

A throwback to a time gone by, this home is every bit ethereal as is modern. Towering colonial pillars, terracotta tiles and earthy hues take centre stage in this timeless #LivspaceHome, while storage and comfort take on a modern quality.

The design replicates the warm aesthetics of the exteriors by sticking to a natural palette and soothing textures in the home. A picture-perfect assembly that binds together every detail is doused in a snug and inviting tone.

Elegant Mix

home interiors at kengeri villa

The capacious foyer unit brings in a contemporary note while adding personality and colour to the entryway. The wine red and stone grey combination on the entryway storage really grabs your attention as you enter the home.

A Mindful Pick

Iesha Parekh, Livspace designer, put forth a tremendous design for the display rack which is quite the blend of storage and display and looks stunning too! The shelves hold all of the travel curios the family has collected during their time overseas.

Although the furniture is a mix of many colours, including a couple of accent chairs, it still falls in place beautifully and gives the living room an eclectic touch.

Sturdy and Stylish

The dining room sports teak wood furniture that comfortably seats 8 and is solid in structure. The sturdy setup adds a traditional element to contrast with the modern look of the kitchen. The seating also overlooks the organic garden the room opens out to.

Touch of Class

Making use of the space below the staircase, a stylish TV unit has been placed which enlivens the mortar and brick background.

Soothing the Senses

The master bedroom is a visual treat with soothing textures, warm wooden notes and a little pop of colour. The prints chosen elevate the style statement of the room.

Keeping the tone light and airy, the wardrobes have a light grey velvet finish. Spacious and handy, sticking to clean lines has made movement easy around the room.

Play with Colours

The brilliant blue gives the room an edgy look, diving away from the soothing palette that the home dons. The introduction of whites eases the dominating effect.

The accessories are mindfully picked to adapt to the family’s storage needs. Although the design seems simple, organisation becomes effortless and efficient. From pullouts with a multifunctional insert to a trouser and tie holder, this wardrobe is a perfect assembly for all your sartorial needs.

Space to Unwind

With a muted palette, this bedroom brings in a feel of spring with florals and greenery grabbing the spotlight. A gracious theme that mellows down stress and strife after an exhausting day you’ll want this for your home too.

home interiors at kengeri villa

The high gloss wardrobe in Ivory Velvet and Pista work in tandem to bring about a muted yet radiant look. It provides ample storage to tuck away all the necessary items.

Bold and Bright

When navy blue and wooden finishes come together, the room really has a playful but regal look. This room’s design unfolds in simple yet functional furniture.

home interiors at kengeri villa

Sleek wardrobes and a compact study find their way to this upbeat room. While it may not seem like a bookshelf, the storage is spacious enough to house books and stationery.

Simplicity at its Best

The family room brings back the ethnic details with wooden flooring and a sturdy chest of drawers. The simple setting is pepped up with a blue recliner and footstool. The spacious setting makes for a nice gathering with add-on cushions and floor seating.

Back to the Roots

The balcony is a treat for the sore eyes. Mangalorean tiles, colonial pillars with a countryside seating offers a break from the modernist city life. Surrounded by greenery and a stunning view, this is a lovely place to lounge with a cup of tea.

Classy Vanities

The classy show extends to the washroom with mirrored vanity units keeping the place uncluttered. A stylish addition to break away from the matte texture of the tiles.

“The architecture of the home inspired the theme of the interiors. I always looked forward to designing a home with such earthy aesthetics.”

Design team: Interior Designer Sneha Kadam with Project Manager Trinath Kapal

Livspace service: Full home design

Budget: ₹₹₹₹₹

Hemant Tiwari, longed for a home that was warm and inviting with rustic tones yet somehow subdued to make it homely. On his pursuit, he ventured upon Livspace and met his designer Sneha Kadam.

Sneha made it a point to bring together the preferences of the family of four while creating a masterpiece. A design that was an extension of their personalities and would conform with practicality. She also had to work her way around the electric restrictions which made the process often challenging.

Living in Splendour

lodha aurum grande interiors

The living room greets visitors with cool tones of grey. The soft textures of cotton upholstery and delicate patterns of the curtains give the room an air of grace. To and add some warmth and functionality to the space, a sturdy centre table has been provided.

lodha aurum grande interiors

Another reason why Sneha chose to use subtle and understated tones in the living room was to contrast the industrial wall that envelops the opposite side. The sleek back-painted glass for the entertainment unit brings in a contemporary contrast to the otherwise rustic look of the space.

lodha aurum grande interiors

The dining room will remind you of your neighbourhood cafe — cool, comfortable and earthy. With brick-like tiles, wall shelves and fancy black pendant lights, this is easily the corner that everyone adores. The sturdy furniture completes the look by adding earthiness to the space.

Where the Heart Resides

lodha aurum grande interiors

While Hemant’s wife, Neetu, wanted a minimal and functional kitchen, he was keen on adding wooden finishes for a classy touch. Thus the kitchen is a fusion of these two ideas with light walnut finishes and sleek yet utilitarian cabinets.

lodha aurum grande interiors

The glossy quartz in the countertop is extended to form the backsplash that invokes an airy and bright feel set against darker hues.

lodha aurum grande interiors

The kitchen was planned carefully to provide enough counter space to carry out all tasks — from chopping to washing and cooking without interruption.

A Warm Refuge

lodha aurum grande interiors lodha aurum grande interiors

The bedroom also reflects Hemant’s love for wooden finishes. Doused in warm browns and beiges, the bedroom offers a comfortable repose. The tufted headboard softens the appearance of the sturdy textures while the floral wallpaper adds elegance to the room.

lodha aurum grande interiors lodha aurum grande interiors

Sneha also added white trims and beige elements to brighten the room which otherwise would sport a gloomy look with dark tones. Each of these tones and textures used in the entertainment unit and dresser works harmoniously in bringing out a sophisticated taste.

Airy and Breezy

lodha aurum grande interiors

The kids’ room has fresh and light feels with light blue elements and plenty of natural light. Though it is a compact room, Sneha was able to fit in two beds and a simple study table with ease. However, to make up for the storage, a Z-shaped shelf was provided overhead.

lodha aurum grande interiors

The room also has a cappuccino and white glossy wardrobe that uplifts the room’s airy spirit. The sliding wardrobe is a sensible move for compact spaces such as this.

“ I loved the process from start to end as it was a smooth journey. The Tiwaris were clear as to what they liked and encouraged my every decision.”

A strikingly contemporary Bangalore home that oozes elegance and charm!

SNN raj serenity interiors

Who livs here: Mahesh Ramanathan with his wife Padma and son Ayushman and Armaan

Location: SNN Raj Serenity, Bangalore

Home Size: 4BHK spanning 2,100 sq ft

Design team: Interior Designer Sneha Garodia with Project Manager Ambujakshi N

Livspace service: Full home design

Budget: ₹₹₹₹

A 4BHK ready to move in with all the interior designing in place within a month! Doesn’t that feel stressful and close to impossible? Well, Mahesh Ramanathan and his family were very keen on moving into their new home at the earliest and they approached Livspace with that in mind. The couple wanted a bigger home with a view and away from the city madness. SNN Raj Serenity interiors proved to be ideal for their cause!

Sneha Garodia, Livspace interior designer’s crackling chemistry with the couple was one major reason behind the successful completion of this stunning home. Quick decisions, market hunting for statement pieces and mutual trust were key players in this project. Take some time to skim through this stunning apartment to see how Livspace transforms spaces!

A Striking Entrance

SNN raj serenity interiors

The foyer is the first thing one notices when they enter a home. Sneha gave the couple a bright red wall in the foyer with a statement mirror and cove lights creating soft focus on it. A shoe rack with ample space and seating makes this entryway every bit functional as it is pretty.

Centre of Attraction

SNN raj serenity interiors

As one moves inside the home, the eyes automatically span towards the uber cool stone cladded wall with a large Buddha statue installed in the centre. The couple wanted this wall to be the focal point and Sneha did complete justice to their requirement. Tiny pebbles underneath only add to the mood.

SNN raj serenity interiors

The living room is a uniquely designed space with powder blue walls and off-white sofas. Sneha installed wooden trims on the wall provide completion to the otherwise empty space, while inducing warmth in this room. The living room feels so fresh and welcoming the moment one enters!

Statement Dining Room

SNN raj serenity interiors

The dining room feels stately with with a shiny marble top dining table and a textured wall on side, which is the chosen space to hang family photos. Sneha gave the couple a divider to create a subtle demarcation between the living and the dining area. Since the dining area does not enjoy any natural light, the divider was kept wide and open to let light in. The shelves double up as display spaces for collectibles and artefacts!

SNN raj serenity interiors

A very striking feature of the dining room is this statement artwork that Sneha and Padma, Mahesh’s wife, picked up at a store in Bangalore. The pristine white console table has storage space for all the crockery and other essentials while it plays match with the dining table and chairs.

Green Zone

SNN raj serenity interiors

The boys love goofing around in the balcony, while the couple also unwind in this area. Keeping this in mind, Sneha gave them a artificial grass carpet in the balcony to keep things green and fresh. The railing was also extended to keep up with safety measures!

Beat the Blues with this Kitchen

SNN raj serenity interiors

Kitchens are the heart of the home and if you have a bright heart, then your home will automatically shine through! This cozy kitchen is done up in all white, except for the flashy backsplash. Complete with corner units, tandem boxes and bottle pull-outs, it is a delight to watch this space come to life.

SNN raj serenity interiors

The countertop is built up of granite which is easy to maintain and since it is black in colour, it won’t get stained easily. The chimney plays match with the countertop.

SNN raj serenity interiors

As you enter this compact U-shaped kitchen, your eyes will meet the vibrant blue backsplash in an instant. A closer look at the tiles reveal the fact that they are tastefully shaded and make for fun cooking sessions.

A Pooja cum Study Room

SNN raj serenity interiors

While we were in conversation with Mahesh, we found out that this is his favourite spot in the home. He loves how Sneha has designed the pooja room and the fact that this is his work den as well. The granite slab on the pooja counter is a leftover piece from the kitchen. Talk about optimum usage of resources!

SNN raj serenity interiors

The study corner fits right in this room where Mahesh spend most of his time working. This room is also used for guests when they are visiting; it’s been furnished with a futon that can be converted into a bed. We love how airy and light this room feels!

SNN raj serenity interiors

One for the Boys

SNN raj serenity interiors

One look at this room and it instantly lifts your mood! Ayushman and Armaan own this space and it is so lively that one can feel the energy in here. From the blue themed drapes to the study table and the bed with the side tables, this room is a blue haven for sports enthusiasts!

SNN raj serenity interiors

The bike on the wall spells cool and we are crushing over it! Sneha and Padma picked it up from a store in Chickpet and it just adds to the entire look and feel of the room. The bed features hydraulic storage, while the headboard is a combination of blues and greys that blend in perfectly into the mood of the room.

SNN raj serenity interiors

The study table is a masterpiece in itself, with two separate sections for the two boys, so no more fighting for space! Sneha has cleverly customised this piece for them, so each of them have their own cupboard and drawers to store their books.
P.S. Do not miss the cute little hangmen on the wall beside it. They are not decór pieces, they are hangers for the kid’s clothes. So smart and quirky!

SNN raj serenity interiors

Sneha showed the couple a 3D model of a similar wardrobe and they loved it so much that they wanted an exact replica of it. The closed cabinets are used to store clothes, while the open shelves are utilised for random stuff. The red baskets offset the blue colours of this room and come handy when the kids want to stow away their toys!

When the Parents Visit

SNN raj serenity interiors

SNN raj serenity interiors

This room is used by Mahesh’s parents when they visit and is designed in a way that suits all their needs. The decór is kept simple while the colours are serene and soothing, just right for older people. The stencil pattern of the wall adds a touch of uniqueness to this room!

SNN raj serenity interiors

The wardrobe is a simple shutter wardrobe with mirror panelling that features storage. The drawers beneath the mirrored shutters can be used to store vanity essentials. Therefore, this wardrobe acts as a dresser when required! White Duco paint makes it durable and glossy.

A Master Design for the Master Bedroom

SNN raj serenity interiors

Mahesh and Padma wanted something simple yet classy for their bedroom and Sneha did complete justice to it. Ultra classy slate hued walls with a geometric-patterned wallpaper behind the bed makes this room look so stylish. LED strip lights along the niche make for cozy lighting at night!

SNN raj serenity interiors

The wardrobe is milky white with spruce-hued panelling in the center to create harmony within the room. Sliding shutters with ample storage space inside, customised for the couple, is perfect for cozy spaces like this. The upholstered yellow headboard adds a dash of colour to this otherwise muted room!

SNN raj serenity interiors

Padma wanted some extra storage in the room and a dresser-cum-console table was the answer. With wall hung ledges for storage and display and ample drawers, this console table sits pretty beside the mirrored tall unit complementing the theme of the room.

SNN raj serenity interiors

“This project was a learning experience for me because I got to learn so much during the entire design process. The couple was very cooperative and accommodating, and they gave me complete freedom while trusting my decisions. It was a complete pleasure working for them!”

Vivek wanted a home ready in the nick of time so he could bring his bride, Sahana, home.

G Corp The Icon Interiors

Who livs here: Vivek and Sahana Yadav with their parents

Location: G Corp The Icon, Thanisandra Main Road, Bangalore

Home Size: 2BHK spanning1,305sq ft

Design team: Interior Designer Priya Shankar with Project Manager Sreevinoth T

Livspace service: Full home design

Budget: ₹₹₹₹₹

Located near Manyata Tech Park and Elements Mall, G Corp’s The Icon is an address to aspire for. Our client Vivek and his fiance Sahana were on the lookout for someone who would have their home interiors completed within a couple of months, in time for their wedding! Livspace was their best bet and our designer Priya Shankar got to work!

Sahana, who has a creative streak, knew exactly how she wanted her home to be — a beautiful blend of comfort with some modern industrial elements. Designer Priya also found it refreshing to work with someone with clear and fresh ideas. Take a look at what Sahana’s ideas and Priya’s designer skills have yielded!

Functional Foyer

G Corp The Icon Interiors

Talk about a warm welcome! This foyer, however, has been installed for good storage too. While the bottom shelves have space for footwear, the top shelves have been designed to hold the Yadavs’ helmets. The two-level storage looks sleek when it has been paired with that beautiful wallpaper.

Homely Spaces

G Corp The Icon Interiors

Sahana wanted to stick to neutral tones for the common areas like the living room, The beiges come together beautifully with that pop of red.

G Corp The Icon Interiors

The entertainment unit has been fitted with open display space for photos and flowers, and closed storage spaces for all their nicknacks.

G Corp The Icon Interiors

We love the details that go into every home! Take a closer look at the unit, you’ll see Priya has used a golden wallpaper with grooves as the backdrop! It complements the general vibe of the room and offsets the television that’s wall-mounted.

Dining Glory

G Corp The Icon Interiors

Sahana sourced this unit for their dining area in shades that would just blend in. The curtains, paintings and accessories have been paired accordingly.

Cook in Style

G Corp The Icon Interiors

This beautiful open kitchen is basic in design, but offers that pop of colour, which is a welcome respite in a sea of sober tones. Priya installed a breakfast island for the couple with informal seating. The high-gloss Frosty White cabinets overhead give the illlusion of spaciousness. The matte-finish blue-green base cabinets have been equipped with tonnes of storage too. Sahana also wanted lofts to be added for extra storage since her in-laws would be living with them.

G Corp The Icon Interiors

Accessorised for Ease

G Corp The Icon Interiors

With bottle pull-outs and cutlery trays, organisation becomes a lot easier, as you can see. You can refer this article on accessories that will make your kitchen a dream to work in!

Weave Magic into the Master Bedroom

G Corp The Icon Interiors

Sahana was inspired by a look that she saw on Livspace.com and wanted to get the exact same done for her bedroom. They used Almond Cream leatherette for the tufted headboard and an Auburn Walnut Finish for the furniture. It was all offset by grey industrial walls and accessorised by the Edison bulbs.

G Corp The Icon Interiors

This room exudes warmth and style impeccably, and has no doubt become the favourite zone for the couple.

G Corp The Icon Interiors

The wardrobes have also been done up in grey and white. Apart from the 6-shutter wardrobe, there is another matching dresser unit that has been installed next to the bathroom door, with a long mirror and internal shelves.

G Corp The Icon Interiors

Since Vivek is the neatness freak in this house, you can see how much he has enjoyed organising the internals of the super spacious wardrobe.

In a Nutshell

G Corp The Icon Interiors

 For the Parents

G Corp The Icon Interiors

The parents’ room has been done up in wood grain finishes that they felt was more appropriate given their ages. However, they decided to add a pop of colour with the Plum Purple in crushed faux velvet for the headboard. The walls had to be levelled before installing the wallpapers.

G Corp The Icon Interiors

The wallpaper has a sheen to it that adds a bit of drama to the room and complements the purple beautifully. The room has become a warm space to rest after a long day.

“Sahana is a creative person and came with a clear idea of what she wanted her marital home to look like. Since I was used to doing a lot more traditional designs, this project gave me an opportunity to explore more design options. It was an enjoyable experience to work with a young couple with such fresh ideas!”

— Priya Shankar, Interior Designer, Livspace

Indeed, this has turned into a great space to start a family. Also, Sahana tells us that her guests showered them with compliments on their new nest. We wish them a lifetime of happiness!

A mix of warm wooden notes and vibrant colours define this Sobha home design!

Sobha home design

Who livs here: Varsha Kiran with husband Raghuram and son Samarth

Location: Sobha Forest View, Bengaluru

Home Size: 3BHK spanning 1,800 sqft

Design team: Interior Designer Radhika Thirani with Project Manager Shreyas

Livspace service: Full home design

Budget: ₹₹₹₹₹

More and more families are moving away from the madness in the city to more quieter zones. This is exactly what Varsha Kiran and her family were looking for when they planned to move from Padmanabhanagar to Sobha Forest View apartments, located off Kanakapura Main Road. Nestled in the outskirts of the city and yet well connected to the city, this quaint neighbourhood is an escape from the concrete jungle!

A short scavenge on the internet and the couple came across Livspace to design their dream home. Radhika Thirani, was appointed as their designer, and they started this beautiful journey together.

Let’s Step In, Shall We?

Sobha home design

As we set foot into this snug 3 BHK, we were greeted by chocolate-hued recliners which would make anyone feel like sinking in! The view is so harmonious, with cream walls, a solid wood center table and peanut-coloured drapes. Instant crush!

Sobha home design

The dark wood panel behind the TV unit is another testament of Varsha’s love for warm wooden notes. Radhika gave the couple this dark brown veneer panel so that it falls in line with the centre table and also complements the white TV unit. Simple and elegant!

Quiet Divinity

Sobha home design

The pooja unit is a simple floor-mounted cabinet with jaali patterned doors. It is separated from the living room by a lattice divider in wood and white. A perfect piece for a family who like understated and elegant pieces of furniture!

Warm Mealtime

Sobha home design

The dining room sports a solid wood dining table and chairs in dark wood that play perfect match with the pooja unit. The lighter-toned wood crockery unit has ample storage and display space in the form of closed and glass door cabinets. This sort of a setting just calls for happy mealtimes with the family!

Let’s Talk Modular Kitchen

Sobha home design

One step into this modular kitchen and you will be floored by the chic colour scheme used in here! The stone grey membrane finish cabinets set against beige tiles is such a treat to the eyes. Furthermore, milky white lofts make for extra storage space and add brightness to this area.

Sobha home design

What is the bet when you have a compact kitchen and still use a lot of appliances? Well, you go in for a built-in microwave unit so that you save up on counter space. What’s especially relevant to note is that the cream-shaded quartz countertop adds warmth to this kitchen and is easy to maintain too!

Modules That Make Life Easy

Sobha home design

Sobha home design

This uber functional kitchen is complete with modules like tandem boxes, cutlery units, bottle pull-outs and so on! Therefore, everything in this L-shaped kitchen is organised, just like our clients would like it to be.

A Treat for the Guests

Sobha home design

Just take a look at this tastefully designed guest room. The awe-inspiring dark anchor walls create such a calm atmosphere. The floral drapes add a touch of nature to this neutral room.

Play Match!

Sobha home design

Sobha home design

The wardrobes in this room are a dreamy shade of white in membrane finish that give it unmatched gloss. Set right opposite the windows, it matches the drapes that sport grey flowers on a white base.

Sobha home design

For a Pop of Colour

Sobha home design

Sobha home design

Samarth’s room is a colourful getaway in this neutral home and we are loving it! A textured yellow accent wall has the kid’s favourite — an aeroplane poster on it. Also, the bed and the study table are in perfect harmony with each other since they are both solid wood items.

Sobha home design

Since kids grow out of their age sooner than expected, Varsha wanted to stay away from permanent storage solutions in her son’s room. Hence, she went in for a navy blue matte finish wardrobe that was suggested by Radhika. Space is also maximised by building an open shelf beside the wardrobe where Samarth keeps all his books and toys!

A Master Stroke

Sobha home design

Sobha home design

The master bedroom is like a dreamscape, quite literally! Since Varsha did not want anything usual for their room, Radhika suggested wooden mouldings on the dark ash accent wall behind the bed. It looks sober and regal at the same time! The solid wood bed sits pretty on the wooden floor and satiates Varsha’s love for warm woods.

Glossy Wardrobes for Storage

Sobha home design

Sobha home design

Glossy cappuccino wardrobes were the chosen ones for the master bedroom. It just blended in flawlessly with the rest of the decor in the room. Additionally, dark handles were custom made to match the wooden undertones of the room while the wardrobe has been built to provide maximum storage.

A Chest of Drawers to Top it Off!

Sobha home design

A rustic chest of drawers also makes its way into the master bedroom, and it is not meant for storage. It functions as a dresser with a wooden frame mirror atop it! This is one home where we have seen wood being used so beautifully and extensively. It’s like a walk in the mesmerising woods!

Sobha home design

“It was very easy to work with Varsha and Raghuram, since they were extremely clear about the kind of design they wanted for their home. They were also cooperative and patient during the entire process.”

A potpourri of colour, prints and patterns, this Gurgaon home has a timeless look to suit every season.

home design

Who livs here: Anuj Jaiswal and his wife along with his son and parents

Location: Bestech Park View Grand Spa, Sector 81, Gurgaon

Home Size: 3BHK spanning 2,650 sq ft

Design team: Interior Designer Megha Kedia with Community Manager Maninder Singh Khanuja

Livspace service: Full home design

Budget: ₹₹₹₹₹

Calm, composed, refreshing and lively, this home is a wonderful dwelling that can brighten your day. Florals contrast with wooden furniture, and nature-inspired hues grab the spotlight in this elegant home. To mellow the overbearing shades, soft-velvety textures have been introduced smatteringly.

For Anuj Jaiswal, Livspace homeowner, a home was something that needed to be warm, inviting and unique. The family sought colourful notes with minimal furniture to beautify their home at Bestech Park View Grand Spa, Gurgaon. Thus, Megha Kedia, Livspace designer, ensured that she put her best foot forward in meeting the family’s aesthetic preferences.

home design

Anuj always wanted the home to instantly feel welcoming. A simple wooden foyer unit adorns the compact space and the yellow ottomans give a glimpse of the colourful ensemble awaiting inside.

Unique Blend for a Warm Welcome

home design

For the unique touch, the living room hosts bold blue sofas paired with bright yellow ottomans. Although many don’t dare to attempt this striking contrast, this eclectic mix is what makes the home unique.

home design

Comfy, sink-in couches matched with a wooden centre table making the room wholesome and inviting.

home design

The smooth texture of the tufted sofa softens the appearance of the room. This Chesterfield sofa with its rolled arms and tufted backrest is a classic twist to the contemporary home.

home design

home design home design

But wait, there’s more! The room also hosts a floral wingback chair which completes the look. The blue and gold accent wall borrows its colours from the upholstery of the furniture in the room.

Masterfully Designed Bedroom

home design

Steering clear of the notion that pink is only for the kids room, this master bedroom is clearly a win-win for the couple who love colours. The minty green wallpaper and pink wall with trims add to its pretty ambience.

home design

Keeping it economical, the home is dyed in the paint more than wallpaper. The patterns are layered smartly to give a lively feel though the furniture is minimal.

home design

Solid wood furniture brings a classy look with chevron patterns as highlights. To make up for the lack of storage space, Megha added storage beds and a chest of drawers.

home design

The modular wardrobe contrasts the colourful theme of the room with its white glossy finish. The mirror makes it look spacious and airy.

home design

home design

Being in the corporate field, the couple loves spending their time catching up on the latest news. The compact study makes a good spot to relax and read their books.

Keeping it Light for Parents

home design

The parents’ bedroom has a light tone with a wooden wardrobe and floral furnishings. The room has a matured look with simple furniture and a subtle, eye-pleasing appearance.

home design

The American walnut finish adds a warm glow to the room and contrasts the bed with its lighter shade. Here also the mirrored wardrobe gives the room a substantial appearance.

home design

A cosy and simple reading corner for the parents makes its way into the compact room. An upholstered chair with red chenille finishes not just serves this purpose but stands out in the subtle theme.

The couple were open to trying new things and I focused on providing them what they required keeping in mind aesthetics and functionality. Thus, the whole process was smooth and fun.”
Megha Kedia, Interior Designer, Livspace

In a Nutshell

There’s something about compact homes adorned in bright colours with an open kitchen and cozy seating. It weaves a picture of a happy family that resides within those walls. Picture a pretty little girl running around her mum and dad playing hide ‘n seek! Yes, the image you’ve conjured up sums up how homely and cozy this apartment is.

Our client, Dr Anuradha Roy, is a gynaecologist, while her husband, Dr Vivek is an anaesthetist, and this keeps them extremely busy. Time-pressed discussions, meetings, decisions — it was all about getting things done on a tight schedule. When Livspace designer, Tanvir, entered their home, she knew she had to give them the best. She put on her thinking cap, and along with Anuradha, they designed a space for this lovely family to call their own! Take a look.

Compact Living

Home design at noida

First and foremost, Anuradha was certain about one thing, the moment people enter their home, they should be awestruck! Therefore, they were given a blue chesterfield sofa which has ample seating space, while the TV unit built in the wall niche is such a practical solution for a compact space. Therefore, this is a space they can enjoy with their loved ones.

Exposed Brick Wall Charm

Home design at noida

The couple collectively wanted a bright entrance to their home, and the exposed brick wallpaper does just that! The mustard hued sofa sits pretty against the wall, and a tiny round table with stools around it makes for a cozy dining area that is so uniquely designed. Ideated by Anuradha and executed by Tanvir, this seems like one statement dining room!

For the Little One

Home design at noida

A fairytale room for her dad’s princess, Blossom’s room looks like something straight out of her books or animation movies. A tiny tot who loves the animated movie “Frozen”, Blossom wanted a customised movie themed wallpaper so that she can stay with the characters. Furthermore, her bed and the study chair sport lustrous suede finish upholstery which is also her favourite colour! Vivek was very particular about their daughter’s room. As a result, Tanvir made every effort to make it look perfect!

The Master Bedroom

Home design at noida

In conversation, we found out that the couple wanted a bright home, but a very subtle bedroom where they could feel relaxed at the end of the day. Therefore, Tanvir gave them a recliner in dark ash that serves as a total stress-buster on tough days! In addition to this, a Moroccan-themed wallpaper in powder blue and pretty nailhead trimmed bed make this room a haven.

Home design at noida

The wardrobes in this room are pristine white and glossy with a centre mirror panelling. The sliding mechanism serves as a bonus to save space! Also, we installed a TV unit in the same colour as the theme of the bedroom, complete with shelves for storage of all sorts. In addition to this, false ceiling and mood lighting have been provided that work splendidly with the theme!

“Since the couple was really busy, the designs had to be finalised very quickly and efficiently. There was no scope for error and we had to be on our toes! It was great to work with the couple and the end result was loved by one and all!”
