Modern design for modular kitchen Hyderabad!

kitchen-renovation-open-kitchen-full-kitchen
A peppy kitchen for this family

Who livs here: Nausheer Ahmed Khan with his wife Qudsia Farhan Khan and their family

Location: Akbar Bagh, Malakpet, Hyderabad

Size of kitchen: 160 sq ft approx.

Design team: Interior Designer Madhuri Jaju and Project Manager Murali Yarragada

Livspace service: Modular kitchen design

Budget: ₹₹₹₹₹

“This is an Indian equivalent of an international standard kitchen,” says Nausheer Ahmed Khan, the owner of this beautiful property at Malakpet. Years back when the family was renovating their home, they could not find the right place to get their kitchen renovated. Having lived in Doha and travelled across the continent, they had seen kitchens that were functional and pretty, and obviously wanted the same, filled with appliances to make their lives easier.

When Madhuri Jaju, their designer, took the clients to visit a couple of homes designed by Livspace in Hyderabad, they knew they had found the right design partner for the job. In conversation, Mr Nausheer also mentioned how helpful it was to see real homes as opposed to showrooms. He poured his heart out to the design team so that they could envision what he was looking for. This kitchen is a result of that collaboration. Read on to see what this space is equipped with.

kitchen-renovation-infobox-client-brief
Modular Kitchen Hyderabad: Arched Entrance

This home built in the year 1946, naturally it has lovely architecture that includes arches and mouldings on walls. Therefore, the moment you enter this home, this arched entrance welcomes you inside the kitchen. Simple walls and a striking red and white colour combination is what this kitchen flaunts.

“Having lived and travelled abroad extensively, I really wanted to redo the kitchen at my home in Hyderabad. After looking at a number of names in the market, I contacted Livspace and decided to go ahead. I believed that they could give me what I was looking for. Madhuri and Kalyaani were very good with their work and I absolutely love how the space looks now. It is a delight to come here on vacation and having a good family time.”

– Nausheer Ahmed Khan, Livspace Homeowner

Modular Kitchen Hyderabad: Breakfast Counter for Two

Originally a completely open kitchen layout, Madhuri decided that she should give some definition to this space. Therefore, she added this cosy breakfast counter for two and threw in a couple of pendant lights on the arch. This makes it a perfect spot for the members of the family to grab a quick meal on-the-go!

Modular Kitchen Hyderabad: Glossy Finishes

Though the rest of the home wears a traditional look, the kitchen flaunts glossy acrylic finish shutters. But, the red colour cabinets go very well with wood and that is why it was the chosen colour for this kitchen. Also, this kitchen features only closed storage, because the family comes and stays here only during vacations and it is easier to keep dust from settling. The countertop is also cut in granite stone which looks elegant and is easy to maintain.

Modular Kitchen Hyderabad: Filled with Appliances

Coming to the functionality of this kitchen, there is every kind of appliance in here, that makes life easy. Be it the tall unit with in-built microwave or oven that makes baking fun, this kitchen is a dream for people who enjoy cooking. And, it also features a dishwasher that takes care of utensils and a double-bowl sink that Mrs Qudsia was particular about. The stainless steel hob unit and chimney are just the right ingredients that add a hint of modernness here.

“Since I was involved in the design process from day one, I have worked very closely with Madhuri, the designer and the clients. Mr. Nausheer and his entire family is a very warm bunch and very welcoming. They wanted to get a kitchen of international standards for their kitchen and we were given a clear brief regarding the same. It was very nice to work with them.”

– Kalyaani A, Community Manager, Livspace

A Panchsheel Pratishtha 2BHK that’s high on comfort and colours!

Panchsheel-Pratishtha-living-room-sofas-yellow-blue-coffee-table
An inviting setting

Who livs here: Aditya Gupta & Swati Ahlawat

Location: Panchsheel Pratishtha, Sector 75, Noida

Size of home: 2BHK spanning 1000+ sq ft

Design team: Interior designer Charu

Livspace service: Full home design

Budget: ₹₹₹₹₹

Most of us start picturing our dream home years before buying a house – just like Aditya and Swati. After searching for an apartment in Noida, the couple bought their new home in Panchsheel Pratishtha in 2016. It was around that time that Swati started saving images from blogs and Instagram of designs she loved. After living in a rented home for a few years, they knew exactly what they wanted for their 2BHK. They approached Livspace with a few images and some from our own Instagram feed.

Their requirement? Something colourful. Something soothing. Above all, everything had to fit within a budget. Our designer Charu sprung at the chance of playing with colours and designing the young couple’s Noida home. Keeping a peppy palette and comfort as a priority, let’s get right into the deets!

Panchsheel-Pratishtha-details
Inviting Living Room at Panchsheel Pratishtha

Who doesn’t love a living room that instantly makes you feel right at home? Aditya and Swati’s living room is just that and more! For seating, a happy yellow sofa and soothing teal blue armchairs complement each other beautifully and it’s all set against a gold-toned wallpaper. In addition, a TV unit in a dark wooden hue and matching coffee table is also placed. An elegant jaali divides the hall from the dining room.

Their favourite corner? “We love the pendant lights in the corner,” Aditya says, “it’s just beautiful.” We agree!

“Our overall experience with Livspace was good. We got all the detailing we expected. The outcome is really brilliant.”

An affair of blues

Cosy & snug conversations over food? Yes, please! The dining room is dressed in blues dominantly. Upholstered chairs in navy blue are tucked under a dark wooden table. Of course, the highlight is the backdrop crafted out of wall panels in white, grey and navy blue.

Bright & cheery open kitchen at Panchsheel Pratishtha

The happy colours flow into the kitchen as well. A glossy yellow for the upper cabinets and tall unit bring in a zesty energy to the space. The base units are kept sober in white to keep the attention on the bright hue above. Also, to keep things interesting, two of the wall cabinets feature glass shutters and spotlights for a touch of warmth. Moreover, the intriguing mosaic tile-inspired backsplash completes the look.

Plush Master Bedroom at Panchsheel Pratishtha

The master bedroom is in soothing dark colours. Two types of abstract wallpaper dominates the centre wall. While the middle section of the focal wall is in an intriguing floral pattern, the outer sections are in a dark hue of blue. Moreover, we love how the LED strip lights separate the two looks. A glossy dark wardrobe stands in the corner with lofts on top and drawers below. We love how the entire look rests on wooden flooring. It complements the cove lighting from the false ceiling. The look also fits perfectly with the dresser from the original set of furniture.

The guest bedroom is kept sober in neutrals. A mounted headboard in tufted fabric makes the look chic and comfortable. In addition, a long narrow mirror makes up for a dresser coupled with a bedside table. A glossy beige wardrobe has been fitted into a wall niche with lofts on top for additional storage. Two dainty pendant lights on either side of the bed helps to create cosy corners. Moreover, the cove lighting from the false ceiling adds a dreamy backdrop effect.

This home in Salarpuria Aspire exudes warmth and good cheer.

salarpuria aspire-white couch designs-white rug designs
Clean & cosy vibe

Who livs here: Dennis Francis with his family

Location: Salarpuria Aspire, Hennur, Bengaluru

Size of home: 3BHK spanning 1,500 sq ft

Design team: Interior designers Waheda & Noor Sumiya

Livspace service: Full home design

Budget: ₹₹₹₹

Owning an apartment in a premium property like Salarpuria Aspire is certainly a dream come true for many! But even the best apartments need a deft hand at designing to turn them into homes. And that is where we come in! Dennis Francis and his wife live abroad, so they needed 3BHK interior design for their home in Bangalore, where his parents stay. In spite not being in the city, the family was very particular about having a warm vibe in their home. However, by warm, they did not imply bright and warm colours. In fact, their view of ‘warm’ was a space filled with natural light and wooden finishes.

Our designers Waheda and Noor Sumaya designed this home making the best use of natural light and some classy custom furniture. So take a tour to see for yourself!

Salarpuria Aspire Home: Balmy Beach Vibes

Keeping with the warm vibe of the home, the living area is dressed in wooden walnut finishes and bathed in sunshine. Our designers have helped the family pick furniture that does not obstruct or absorb light. The couch picked from the Livspace catalogue, for example, is a pearly white in colour. Moreover, low-height seating like ottomans have been used to ensure that natural light is not obstructed.

The entertainment unit here is a custom piece that extends into the shoe cabinet. This unit with its neat and uncluttered design as well as deep Canadian Walnut laminate finish, is the statement piece for this living area.

Salarpuria Aspire Home: Woody & Wonderful

The dining space sports a dark wood dining set that matches the general look and feel of the home. This area is flanked by a crockery-cum-bar unit on one side and a serving counter on another. Essentially, both these custom pieces fit their respective niches without a fiddle. In addition, we found the pigeon hole shelves tempered with mirrors quite charming as well; it qualifies as a very interesting visual element.

Salarpuria Aspire Home: Two-toned Beauty

Like the rest of the home, the kitchen too is bright and airy. And this is just how the family wanted their kitchen. So three cheers to the design team that worked around the large window covering one side of the kitchen. In fact, this parallel two-toned kitchen, with white wall units and grey base cabinets in acrylic finish, is a looker for sure. However, its functionality trumps its good looks. Designers have stocked the kitchen with storage because it has not one or two, but three tall units!

Salarpuria Aspire Home: Beautifully Beige

The 3BHK interior design of this home is such that every room gets plenty of sunshine. And the designers for this project made the most of the natural light by using sheer curtains and demure colours in the master bedroom. Moreover, the white laminate panelling by the bed gives character to the walls and helps bring out contrast. The bed and comfy leather headboard is from our catalogue. Additionally, there is a custom study unit here that could function as the perfect workstation. Furthermore, there is a chic walk-in closet in this bedroom fitted smartly within a niche.

Salarpuria Aspire Home: Amorous Aqua

As Dennis currently resides abroad, this apartment is home to his elderly parents. In fact, their bedroom has a refreshing aqua blue accent wall. The bed and grey sectioned headboard is also from our catalogue. Moreover, for this bedroom, the family chose a custom sliding wardrobe because they had set their heart on a particular grey acrylic finish.

However, the best part about this bedroom is an extended seating area where the elderly couple likes to read and have their evening cuppa. Originally, this was an enclosed balcony that has been highlighted with wooden beams to carve out this niche.

Salarpuria Aspire Home: Stunningly Simple

The guest bedroom is a simple affair furnished with a solid wood bed from our catalogue and matching side tables. In fact, to match the woody vibe, the designers have added a wooden beam over the bed. The white wardrobe in laminate finish is also picked from our catalogue.

“Dennis was very involved in the process of designing this apartment though he was living abroad. He was thoroughly professional and very particular about what he wanted his home to look like. This clarity of thought permeated to the design process and ensured that we could work quickly and precisely to deliver the project on time.”

Who livs here: Srijesh Kumar with his wife Aruna and their son

Location: Ireo Victory Valley, Gurgaon

Size of home: 4BHK spanning 2,300 sq ft approx.

Design team:  Interior Designer Rishabh Chatarth and Project Manager Taranjeet Singh

Livspace service: Full Home Design (kitchen not included)

Budget: ₹₹₹

As they say, ‘home is where the heart is.’ But what happens when your house is brand new with bare walls and empty rooms? You get Livspace Gurgaon to transform it into a warm and welcoming abode. And this is just what Livspace designer Rishabh Chatarath did for a close-knit family living in Gurgaon.

Residing in this 4BHK apartment are Srijesh Kumar and his wife, Aruna with their son, Sannidhya. The family wanted a home with a mix of stylish and modern elements while adding a dash of Indian elements.  Located in the plush Ireo Victory Valley apartment complex, this home is a sundry of styles.

Living Room Interiors for 4 BHK Apartment

In the era of sleek and modern designs, plush elements are still preferred for its ability to display the owner’s personality. For example, the foyer reflects a classy as well as swanky vibe. With multiple pendant lights, white walls and mirrors, this entryway is bright and elegant. An innovative way to decorate a ceiling is by using motifs to fill up this space. In this case, Rishabh from Livpsace Gurgaon has used black motifs to break up the monotone colour scheme while bringing attention to the pendant lights.

The foyer leads to a cosy enclosure with two partitions made of hardwood, that demarcate the living room. With grey brick walls and a darker shade used for the sofa, a pop of colour comes from the two accent chairs, as well as, solid and patterned cushions and a woven carpet.

Furthermore, Rishabh has transformed this empty alcove into a serene place of worship. Taking notes from this design, bright yellow walls and ambient lighting can renew the feel of any room.

Dining Room Interiors for 4 BHK Apartment

Attached to the living room is the dining room. A bright nook for family and friends to enjoy meals and conversations. Equipped with a spacious six-seater dining table, Srijesh wanted to include a bench for extra seating. A noteworthy element int he dining room is the patterned wall art mounted on the wall

Master Bedroom Interiors for 4 BHK Apartment

The master bedroom is giving us tropical vibes with all white interiors and a floral wallpaper within a wall trim. Giving this room toasty feels is the wooden bed that fits in seamlessly with the warm wooden flooring. This spacious room is also equipped with a TV that is mounted on a wooden unit. Moreover, giving this room more character is the colourful patterned carpet and pouffe in the laminate wardrobe space.

Kid’s Bedroom Interiors for 4 BHK Apartment

Giving Srijesh’s son, Sannidhya, a space of his own that accommodates all the requirements of a growing boy was a key factor in designing this room. The bedroom is in a blue and grey theme, giving it a cool and sleek look. As an avid football fan, the room has displayed bits and pieces of his hobbies along with unique wall mounts in the shape of bottle caps.

Guest Bedroom Interiors for 4 BHK Apartment

Srijesh believes that simplicity is an emotion. Therefore, the guest room is simple all the while, being aesthetic. Sufficiently designed with all necessities, this room has a snug upholstered bed and plenty of storage for his mother, Subhadra.

Entertainment Room Interiors for 4 BHK Apartment

Perfect for pursuing a hobby or binge watching movies, this room is the ideal entertainment room. Packed with enough and more, the room has a sofa cum bed, a TV unit, plenty of music equipment and musical instruments.

“It was simple to work with Srijesh and Aruna since they were willing to experiment with their home. They wanted homely interiors with plenty of colours. We could finalise the designs quickly and it was fun working with them. Designing a home that made them happy was the ultimate aim.”

-Rishabh Chatarth, Interior Designer, Livspace
